If so then it should be very simple to drop in a 500GB IDE, a full CoinOPS installation (check this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5Qv_I7lJq_k for an idea of the bredth of this), and the best xbox exclusives. Some of the Japanese only g...

Re: Coin Ops 5 Lite & Xbox emulation

CoinOPS has been coming along over the years and now at last the screensaver shows the name of the game and what system it's from, and picks videos out of all six video folders, rather than just the one folder previously, allowing for more than 4096 games to ever be shown. to celebrate I recorded 2 ...

Re: Coin Ops 5 Lite & Xbox emulation

I have an xbox with a 500gb IDE HD and CoinOPS 5 with 12,000 games with videos. This takes about 240 GB. The general interface is wonderful to use. For pre 1993 or so MAME it's very good, and for 16bit consoles and earlier it's very good too. N64, PSX and some more challenging SNES titles there is p...

My copy arrived yesterday - looking forward to reading it :) http://www.amazon.co.uk/The-Future-Was-Here-Commodore/dp/02620...

Re: Red Dead Redemption

I haven't played RDR yet (should get it this weekend) but GTA4 has auto aim if you hold the trigger down fully, and manual aim if you hold it down half way.

Re: Super Mario Galaxy 2

you had to beat bowser a second time in the first SMG too.

personally I got up to 120 stars on SMG2, but couldn't be bothered to go for the green stars. Although I loved SMG2, I prefer SMG1, the music, the darker aesthetic, even the hub world.

Re: Software Houses RIP

Subjectively: Firebird. Growing up and always being skint I often got budget games and Firebird produced many of them. Those early firebird/silverbird inlays had a certain charm to them as well. You've got to watch High Noon - fantastic story, very interesting sound track, and Grace Kelly is in it.

Exolon - the only game for which I remember the infinite lives cheat "zorba". the sound effects on 128k spectrum were really nice too. great atmosphere.
