Re: Video game documentaries?

Ah, okay, cheers for that. Sounds more like a reality show than a documentary!

Re: Video game documentaries?

Yes, the Get Lamp crowdfunder was one of the first ones I did I think, and really enjoyed it, with little extras and regular updates every step of the way.

Was thinking of picking up Nintendo Quest, but have heard mixed views on it so perhaps will just pay for a stream viewing or download

Would Bosconian be classed as a lesser known coin op? Even though it was on an early Namco Museum? Used to love that game.

Re: From The Forum Issue 202

This is a great question! Silent Hill immediately comes to mind for me, the game that changed horror games for me forever and really creeped and unsettled, with a combination of the parallel worlds and brilliant soundscape. I could probably rattle off heaps of game locations, especially adventure ga...

Re: They should do print computer game MAGS again

I would love to see Fusion do a C&VG annual, if at all possible. Have both Crash and Zzap annuals, and would really love a C&VG to go with it.

I dont really have a massive fondness for the arcades, its weird i'm of the right age (35) to remember them and to have visited arcades but for whatever reason didn't as a kid and dont remember any of my friends doing so either. I know our local swimming pool had a few of the common 90s arcades lik...

Re: Dara O Brian's Go 8 BIT

Have only seen a couple of episodes of this, has had little air time in NZ that I've seen, or missed it. Cancelled now I understand. Hopefully one of our channels picks it up for a run through. It's silly, has gaffs in it for trainspotters for sure, but it's fun, much like the other UK panel shows t...

Re: Video/Computer Game History Books

Bumped this topic, as had some good ones recently. Along with RG #200 which is like a Bookazine in itself and excellent. Fusion have been producing some real quality productions, along with Fusion magazine, the Fusion and ZZap recent annuals are just superb and up with their usually high standard. I...

Re: Retro Gamer - Issue 200

Fantastic issue, starting to look more in depth now- you guys have totally outdone yourselves celebrating the #200, an outstanding issue.

Now the Fusion annual has arrived so I'm set for retro reading until the NY!

Re: Video game documentaries?

For some reason I can't jump on the late backer link on their KickStarter page. The facebook page only has one p...

Last Ninja was the first one I remember, but the two I loved especially were Tenchu and Bushido Blade
