Re: Is the Wii U still worth getting in 2019?

I'd still get a WiiU if there's one at the right price for a bulk lot, it has some excellent titles on it. They seem to hold their price quite well though, as most Nintendo consoles over other brands. Perhaps it is due to less of them meaning there isn't an oversupply as the likes of Wii and DSLs et...

Re: Thank you so much for your great magazine!...

It is great to see a positive thread to share some love of the mag...too often we bring up what we don't like, loudly, and forget to acknowledge for the vast majority of the time RG is a terrific publication and it's wonderful to still have a mag like this in physical format to enjoy, with writers c...

When are we getting back to the 80s and 90s bookazines? Nearly everything else from the mag has been reprinted in some sort of special over the years so why not?
Why not indeed. Sounds a good idea :)

Re: Buying CD's

Lol would love to get the Depeche Mode 12" singles on CD in their boxsets, but those things go for stupid prices. That's where downloads from iTunes really are good, you can get the extended versions you used to have on vinyl without breaking the bank

Re: The Mighty Micro

Thanks for that, I'd completely forgotten about that show. Saw bits of it at the time, it's fun to go back and watch them in hindsight, see how close they were for their predictions, and fun to see what was considered amazing tech at the time.

Re: N64 mini pix leaked

I think there would have been much more interest in the PS classic with a few more titles that were initially assumed to be there were there...and had the emulation been better. It's a wasted opportunity sadly, even with some great games on it. A N64 mini would be better received I think....not only...

Interested with the RE2 feature, that's for sure. Not sure if a lot of the rest grabs me really. But keen to hear how good that RE2 feature is.

Re: How Far Behind in the Magazine Issues Are You?

That surprises me Icemann, that Australia wasn't really into Spectrum. In NZ it was huge. Most people I knew had one, moved up from ZX81. Perhaps NZ had more more of a cross section of market, embracing UK, US and Hong Kong, covering Atari, Commodore, BBC, Sinclair, Orics and Dragons, to V tech and ...

I see it's now discounted quite widespread, even down here in NZ it's gone from 179.99 local currency to 99.99

Pi is aimed at people who like building stuff like that. Basically, weirdos. ;)
Totally agree😀. You can buy a modded X box if you just want to play games. Or a Hacked PSP for people who claim to have no space.
The xbox option is what I have, for me it's outstanding :)

Re: Renting videotapes

Lol I have a few very rare VHS tapes I got converted to DVD. The quality gave me a massive shock at how poor it is when we were watching them again! We used to think it was great! I still have to keep them though as cannot get them any other way. The visual quality now is astounding. I know DVD is da...
