Re: Tracking lateness

I’ve given up hope of anything positive coming from future about this situation. Their silence tells me everything I need to know Unfortunately I agree; after my run in, I'm pretty much done ordering. They're flat out useless, and have no intention or interest in fixing their problems. I have had m...

Re: Tracking lateness

Plot twist. I go to get my mail out of my mailbox today, and all of a sudden I see three issues, after nothing since October! Great, they are finally catching up to their backlog. I take them out to see....THREE copies of issue 214. No 211-213, 215, 216, any of those. What the heck is going on ther...

Re: Tracking lateness

I never had a problem until a year ago, now the company is using Covid as an excuse for either not shipping at all, or they are shipping months late. They obviously don’t care about international subscribers even though we pay way more for our issues. I’ve gotten things from amazon Japan and other ...

Re: Video/Computer Game History Books

Currently waiting on Howard Scott Warshaws 'Once upon Atari' paperback to arrive. The excerpts are a nice descriptive inside story of the boom era at Atari, much like his DVD of the same name but going into more depth. By all accounts tells a great story without getting worrying too much about the o...

I was surprised to find this in my on demand list on the android TV set up, and so gave a watch. Not too bad at all, generally follows the timeline of the book by the same name

Re: The Greatest Handheld Games Consoles - ranked

Yeah exactly i dont know why people take these lists so seriously. @kiwimike let me know about the RG350, i'm interested to get another gadget similar to these I bought the RG350 cheap from a local auction, judging by the contents of which is hit/miss what works, I think the seller got a bit frustr...

Re: Intellivision Amico

Tommy's such a likeable fellow, I want it to do well. And I am interested but reserving judgement, much like the new Atari VCS. That surprised me by actually appearing, I thought it was going to be another Vega+ the way it was going. Pleased for the backers it did- but too expensive for me. The Amic...

Re: The Greatest Handheld Games Consoles - ranked

Lol these lists are always subjective, but each to their own. IMO Nintendo are the kings of the handhelds if we're talking off the rack games libraries. My sentimental classic personal favourites have been Lynx and NGPC though. Just got a RG350 cheap to play with, never had an open sourced one befor...

Re: What games/consoles have you bought this week??

I just bought myself a RG350, won a local auction so was nice n cheap. I think the seller bought it but got frustrated trying to set up.

So I have joined a couple of fan pages and reading up, so I can get the most out of it learn how to sort out emulators

Re: MyFavouriteMagazines is gone

I just don't understand how their service and processes have gone from excellent to just abysmal with the name change. I have to seriously consider whether I will bother again. I've lost faith in their ability to provide the service tbh. I honestly never would have associated the word "excellent" w...

Re: MyFavouriteMagazines is gone

***Edited add on- after saying I would start a case with PayPal, they contacted again to ask me to provide proof of my subscription purchase (didn't even have that bit correct), and they could refund me. I told them not to bother, PayPal had done it for them. They really, really need to sort their ...

And, insult to injury, when I clicked 'very unhappy' to fill in the survey, it followed a link and said 'Survey closed!' They certainly didn't want to know about it Lol

Re: MyFavouriteMagazines is gone

This is just extremely chaotic and it looks like nobody knows anything and/or provide false information. Truer words have never been spoken. But it is fascinating how Future always manages to find a way to make things worse instead of better with each change. Well, I'm still fuming from my recent e...

Re: Arcade 1up - Out Run

I love those little 1up machines, they are so cool. They get a bit of stick from purists on social media at times, but I think they're awesome. If I had the room and spare cash, I'd definately collect a few

Re: Charity Shops

Ebay has killed off the charity bargain hunts almost completely. Pre covid I hadnt seen anything in about 2 years, was vib ribbon and they wanted 20 quid even then. Yeah, it's ruined it really, its rare to find anything of interest now. Sometimes you may get lucky in a private garage sale, but even...
