Hi mate,

Wow, Trolls I remeber that!

I have several VHS loves myself, Will just list em:

Battle beyond the stars
Battlestar
Ghoulies 1 & 2
Condorman
Critters
Tremors
Howard the duck
Buck Rogers

Does anyone think "bad" films can stand the test of time, I know I have fond memories of these.

Great video - The Saturn (a small step forward instead of a leap) killed the Dreamcast in Europe but by god how good is the Dreamcast!!!!!

I'd love to see Sega & Nintendo at the top again instead of the mostly thin PS2 & Xbox games we have today.

Thanks for the clip mipper!

Good issue this month lads - Old little moans aside. Great to see the Saturn Schmups rated, tiny complaint being the "Sizzler" award all over the screenshots especially Battle Garegga. SNES Article was great, more concise than many system reviews - Brought me back to the SNES/Megadrive wars from yes...

I have a dead woody 2600 - Really good condition so much of a shame to bin it.

3DO FZ-1 - stops working after a few minutes (maybe a cooling problem)

48k Speccy - garbled frontend screen.

Any ideas welcome.

Re:

Perhaps a little box/column in the "scene" section of the mag could be given over to repairs/maintenance? Or as suggested, to possible contacts for people who still repair old machines? Sounds good Merman at least it gives people a place to start - I have no idea apart from shipping to repair shop ...

Retro Machine - Repair & Maintenance - Section

What does everybody think of a regular repair & maintenance section in RG?. I myself have a couple of faulty machines and cannot find a good resource on the net to help me fix them. Faulty old machines are only going to be more of a problem as time goes by and it would be great to see some helpful h...

Okay Chris Hulsbeck stuff is superb (Why haven't we read more about him in RG?). Also the Imagine loading screen is superb (sevaral variations I know but generally a stunning tune). Final Fantasy stuff is always superb - The intro to Kindom hearts (Drive into the heart especially). Then the alltime ...
