MESS Fot TI99

I use it for TI99/4A emulation and for this it's excellent. I've found I get the best compatibility with older DOS versions.

Playing RS

I haven't had much chance to play it enough to learn all the waves etc. I had a go on 'Normal' in arcade mode and just kept hitting the credit button 'cos I wanted to see what it was like later on. I've played it properly mainly in Saturn Mode and can get as far as the 3rd or 4th boss with one ship....

Bargain!

As one of the people who missed out due to subs cock-ups I had to go looking on eBay for issues 27 and 28. I managed to find them and can delightedly report that I only had to pay the same as a 6 month subscription to get them. Fantastic!

TI99

CrookedMouth said: nice work, I always wanted a ti994a. tunnels of doom looked awsome. You can usually pick them up on eBay US for peanuts. I'm always being offered them from US sellers for nothing if I don't mind paying the shipping. Unfortunately this is seriously expensive and I only ever took it...

FINALLY!

I've been lurking and waiting on eBay for absolutely ages for a sub £100 copy of Radiant Silvergun to come up. A couple of days ago I finally found one on BIN for £80. It wasn't perfect (that's why it was only £80) but I snapped it up straight away. There are some light scratches on the disk (eas...

Not happy at all :(

I was one of the people who weren't advised when their subscription ran out. I didn't realise until it was too late and was so pissed off I didn't resubscribe. I saw RG29 on the shelf in WH Smith the other day so I bought it and was reminded of what I was missing. I decided to resubscribe and order ...

Potential internet comedians, rather than spend ages wracking your brains trying to think of humourous top tips, why not just copy a load from an old copy of Viz you found lying around?

I remember this film too

Oh, I've seen it but I don't know what it's called. It was the description of the truck thingy that brought it back to me. I think one of the wheel sets jammed at some point so someone had to climb out of the vehicle and fix them while it was moving.

SCUMM Games

I always fancied playing these back in the day and did dabble with one or two but never got around to finding the time to sit down and really play them properly. The last adventure game I played to completion was Grim Fandango. I'm quite enjoying playing Flight Of The Amazon Queen at the moment. Whe...
