Indeed it is my favourite car of all time hence the nick! I was lucky enough when Dad was driving (well, navigator!) in a privateers Mini Cooper in '86 to see one (and hear one!) in the flesh .. I was smitten .. and still am today! Did you know Archer McLean had one? (1 UFO) ... he sold it to a guy ...

ROTR for me, I have to say that all the nominees require erasing from history .. but ROTR was soooo darn expensive too .. So not only did it fool you with such purdy gfx and then played like a dead dog (I can remember the screams of "is this IT ????" even now) ... your wallet got a hammering too .. ...

Like a lot of others, mine arrived today. VERY pleased with it. had to laugh at RoN Hubbard in the IK+ piece - but Mayhem has already mentioned that :) The US vs UK article is fantastic too - I always wondered about how and why 2 conversions were done. (the USA Amiga version of "Afterburner" wii's o...

Re:

Seriously though, a lot of it is dependent on what we get sent (or I treat myself to). Don't get me wrong, I do like having reviews on portable games, I own both a PSP and DS so these things are important to me - but I do love reading about new games on other systems too. It was only a very small t...

Had a few days to read it from cover to cover .. and as usual, it is a great piece of work .. REALLY enjoyed the Target:Renegade article - you know I dressed up as Renegade with leather pants, leather waistcoat (with a white promo "Renegade" t-shirt underneath), shades and a bandana for the first Sa...

I think people are right when they say that every era has it's merits - however it is how we remember them is what counts. For me my favourite era has to be from '86 to '94 .. I worked in a computer shop at this time and found my enthusiasm was at it's greatest. I breathed, ate and slept games durin...

I was working in a games shop at the time .. so I saw and played pretty much all home computer versions .. I think we were all pretty much let down by them all if i am honest, although the music tape did make it up a little. We didn't sell them but i have to say I really like the PC Engine version (...
