Re: Playing N64/PS2/GC with HDMI/HD TV

Best you can hope for with a PAL N64 is with a S-Video cable, a component cable for a Gamecube is like rocking horse s**t with a price to match too, a Gamecube compatible Wii with a component cable is the way to go, or better still a modded Wii and NTSC versions of the GC games as they can then outp...

Re: What grinds your gears ?

Take it from me, coil springs don't break from hitting bumps.. they're designed to well basically spring.. hitting potholes etc has more chance of knocking ball joints out, bending suspension arms, track rods, if a spring breaks it has just come to the end of it's life..

Re: N64 trouble

It's not a RGB cable you're using for the SNES and GC is it? if so it won't work with a N64.. in fact you're lucky to have even got any type of picture at all, if it's a standard composite cable.. I have no idea, maybe the N64 outputs at a weird frequency your TV doesn't like :?

Re: British Gas

I didn...

Re: British Gas

I don't understand why you guy's bills are so high, after reading this thread it reminded me that the email came through the other day from SSE telling me my latest electric bill was due.. £67.92.. and that includes the last quarter which I forgot all about  My gas I pay for on a prepaid meter...

World Rally by Gaelco a top down/isometric racer.. fantastic game that I've lost count how much money I pumped into when it was in our local bowling alley, fully playable in MAME.. I think besides myself there's only one other person on this forum that's played it (Two Headed Boy iirc) http://www.yo...

Re: What are you currently playing?

A lot of GBA via the recently updated/optimised XboyAdvance emulator for the old XBOX.. near enough all games now run at near 100% speed, saves me having to buy a Gameboy Player for my big screen fix anyway :D

Re: The Wolf among Us

I completed the first episode earlier.. very enjoyable with a fantastic story too, plays very much like TWD but seems to have a little more action even though it's the usual QTE stuff and plus how many games allow you to play as the big bad wolf? :D
