Re: Top 25 Saturn Games

In no particular order, since I won't play favourites with my favourites: Exhumed Precursor to Metroid Prime's nonlinear, exploration-and-ability gameplay? Sure! But it has an atmosphere that rivals any other of the (admittedly-sparse) FPS on Saturn, plus some incredible sights pulled out of the mac...

Re: N64 Vs Sega Saturn

I'd love to default to "they're both good, don't make me choose!" on this subject, but I'm afraid I'm going to plump for Saturn. A number of reasons: - The definitive (at the time) Sonic compilation was a great hole-filler for families or individuals who had needed to sell their Megadrives to upgrad...

Re: From the forum issue 125 - Favourite movie licence

I have a soft spot for the Megadrive version of Alien 3 - nothing like the film and sadistically-tough, but exudes a great atmosphere; thanks in no small part to the soundtrack.

Need new pants.

SSM all the way for me. I believe I've said so before, but I shall say it again; best single-format magazine ever.

Brand awareness is such an important thing that it would not be to Nintendo's advantage to throw away such a recognisable thing. And besides, isn't the DS really a continuation of what they started with the Game Boy brand anyway? A rose by any other name, and all that.

I like the graphics. As far as the games themselves, they exhibited a clunky robustness I couldn't comprehend, as an arcade junkie at the time. Nice shiny graphics.

Lost World is utter willies, if I recal. However, I currently own CCE, and wheras it's handling is like the original with a coat of dried custard over it (Drifting with some of the cars is nigh-on impossible without a quick trip into-and-then-out-of some nearby grass), the original didn't offer a sp...

Please, a six-hundred page special on NiGHTS Into Dreams , with a Definitive on it, oh yes. Plus interviews and maybe even a covermounted plush toy! And rename the magazine "NiGHTS Gamer". Even for subsequent issues with no NiGHTS coverage. On a serious note, please give us some Sega Saturn coverage...

Great issue. I'm a fan of all the 'Making of...' things, which was about right. There is a feature I want to see, though; A feature on Sega Saturn Magazine , featuring (If it's at all possible) an interview with Rich Leadbetter. I remember, as an underdog Saturn owner, being taken back by the often-...

And, would you please set some minds to rest with certain things?

What I refer to here is that a few friends of mine and I absolutely swear there's been more game-movie-game tie ins than the hilariously named Street Fighter: The Movie: The Game.

I love Lemmings 3D!!! So you're the one. Seriously, it wasn't really Lemmings, but as a Lemmings-style game in 3D, I found it a pleasant enough distraction, once the camera controls were set to semi-mimick FPS controls (Made it loads easier to move them around) and I started thinking in 'blocks' (B...

Hmmmm... the poll doesn't have any options I'd go for. Sonic Battle was the closest to RPG that Sonic has gotten as yet, and would have been palatable were it not for those "Poor mans Smash Bros." battles. And then there was Popful Mail almost being rebranded as Sister Sonic for the Mega CD, which w...
