Re: What Films/TV Have you Watched Recently?
Managed to pick up Hitman (Extreme Edition) and Final Destination 3 (2 Disc Set) from Poundland which are pre-owned. Hitman I thought was ok even though it is uncut, however, it could have been a better film by adapting one of the storylines from the games. Final Destination 3 was good but my favour...

Re: Assassins creed movie
They should bring out an assassins creed movie, it would be better than prince of persia I wouldn't mind seeing an Assassins Creed live-action movie. I must admit that I'm quite surprised that for the moment no major film studios have announced a live-action movie adaption of Assassins Creed. If th...

Re: Why was the Atari Jaguar such a massive FAIL ?
In my opinion, the Atari Jaguar failed because of it's poor marketing and lack of decent games. There was only a small handful of decent games that came out on the system whilst the rest of the games on this system were either average or poor. From what I read about this system from the creators the...

Re: From the forum issue 101
For me, it would have to be the educational game Pod. I remember back in primary school, me and and my friends used to spend all our playtimes being fascinated with the character Pod by typing in many different types of commands for this character to do. We used to get annoyed however, when sometime...

Re: What Films/TV Have you Watched Recently?
I bought Needful Things on DVD for £1 brand new and fully wrapped from Poundland today. I saw this film years ago on TV which stars Ed Harris and Max Von Sydow, and I thought it was a good film which was made in 1993 and is based on a Stephen King novel. Good bargain.

Re: What Films/TV Have you Watched Recently?
Ip Man . Absolutely brilliant film I must say. It's based on the life of the martial artist (played by Donnie Yen) who taught wing chun (translates 'beautiful spring') and survived the ravage of the Japanese occupation. Those fight sequences really captured me, especially the scene where he took on...

I've got a huge collection of Crash, Sinclair User and Your Sinclair magazines for the Spectrum, as well as various Mega Drive magazines such as Mean Machines Sega, Mega, Sega Force and Mega Drive Advanced Gaming. I've also got a huge collection of Super Play magazines which is my favourite Super Ni...

Re: From the Forum issue 99
I love the Spectrum because of it's ability of creating well detailed sprites in games in general as well as almost arcade perfect looking sprites when it comes to arcade conversions. This makes up for the lack of and monochrome colours that the Spectrum has. Also the Spectrum 128K soundchip when it...

Re: What Films/TV Have you Watched Recently?
Watched Scott Pilgrim Vs The World on DVD the other day. Really enjoyed it. :) Highly recommended. :) Hope to see if I can pick it up on Blu-Ray at a bargain price. Also watched Groundhog Day on TV on Fiver the other day. I must admit that to me, this has got to be Bill Murray's best film. :) What m...

I bought Outlander on Blu-Ray for £5 from Asda the other day. A surprisingly good film with an interesting story and good classical score. Recommended.

Re: Help Remembering A Manga series
I must admit that the Hard Rock/Electronic/Piano score that was used in the UK English language dub version of the Cyber City Oedo 808 series sounded so much better and fitted to the tone of the series much better compared to the original Japanese soundtrack. The Hard Rock/Electronic/Piano score tha...

Re: What Films/TV Have you Watched Recently?
Wes Craven's New Nightmare . A really good way to end the original series and Wes Craven had a billiant idea for making another Freddy film without getting bogged down by what the last few sequels had done. Freddy is scarier again and the whole thing is much closer to the original film which is a g...

Re: New Dr Who film coming
It would be interesting if the film had Paul McCann and Christopher Eccleston reprise their role as the Doctor to show how Paul McCann's Doctor regenerated into Christopher Eccleston's Doctor as a backstory during the Time War.
