I just set my Dreamcast up for a nice Sunday afternoon session just to find the laser's croaked. Gah!

I'm now looking around the net for a reasonably priced console.

Christmas day will be the first day of my holiday, so drinking, eating and gaming shall take place. A couple of days later I shall be off to the Caribbean for two weeks. It's gonna be sweet.

For me, the best moment was at college in 1998 when we were using the antique 486s for several deathmatches. One of the guys yelled "GAME ON!!!" in a high pitched squeal of excitement and then almost choked on his chewing gum. Oh how we laughed... Wait, that had almost nothing to do with the game, d...

Two good games don't make the man a legend in my eyes. He's only famous for making those two titles and pretty much disappearing. Not much of a legacy. *awaits abuse*

Tough question. I think it would have to be R-Type. No, wait: Giga Wing... hang on, I mean Ikaruga. Or possibly Psyvariar. Or it could be Xenon 2 on the Amiga. But what about Gradius V? Maybe Gunbird 2. Or perhaps...

Well, I would say Gears of War, but since this is the RG forum, I would have to go for Xevious. I don't hate it, I've just never been a big fan of the game. As for over hyped, Rise of the Robots would take that accolade. Remember that Edge cover? Ouch!

Completing Project X on the Amiga. Did that when I was in my early teens, and have tried since to finish it again. Sadly I am now bobbins at it and can only struggle to the end of the second level.

Cannon Fodder because you can keep shooting the bad guys around the screen after they die, accompanied by comical yells of pain. Resident Evil is also satisfying when you're equipped with the Magnum. Watch those heads pop. The Metal Slug series would surely win this argument though. The superb anima...

If you get your Saturn chipped or buy the Action Replay 4M (for playing imports) I would recommend Thunder Force V and Gokujyo Parodius Da! as they weren't released over here. For UK games you should look at Guardian Heroes, Panzer Dragoon 1 & 2 and maybe one of the Street fighter Alpha games (much ...
