Re: PLAY EXPO (formerly Replay), 12-13 October 2013, Manches
Been some time since I posted on the old RG forums but I've attended (Re)Play every year so far and I have to say that it's become one of the main highlights of the calendar for me (aside from the obvious; birthday, Christmas, annual bath and such) and this year has been no exception. Hopefully I'll...

Re: Specific sections
By spreading out all of the posts over many multiple sections like that it would make the forum seem sparse and empty.
Plus it would also be a bit of a headache to moderate.

I used to watch this from time to time as, despite not being much of a sports fan, it was pretty funny.

The idea of the minimig is that it's open source, meaning that anyone with access to an FPGA dev board can make one...

I'm very fond of Mines of Terror and would urge people to check it out. A Metroid-esque platformer featuring the underrated sixth doctor.

Re: Is there such thing as an easy side scrolling shooter?
Transbot on the SMS is quite easy. It's also super repetative, looping over the same 3 or 4 areas until you eventually give up.

My 360 has recently shuffled off this mortal coil and is way out of warranty so I have ordered the new one which should arrive this Friday.

Napalm for the Amiga, great game released in 1998 which was well into the twilight of the system.

Re: Are Gamestation after Game's record as the worst retailer?
Over the drone of thrash metal, That annoys me, the guys behind the counter just play whatever kind of music they like. It doesn't happen in Game and I'm sure that they potentially lose sales because of it. If you're not into that kind of music it can be really off putting whilst browsing. I also d...

Re: Lethal Weapon movies
Nope doubtful whether any studio would touch a project involving Mr 'Drunken-Angry-Phonecall' Gibson right now. I do like all of the movies even though Joe Pesci gets on my nerves (don't get me wrong, he's a fine actor).

Re: Made for tv movies
The Sci-Fi (SyFy) channel in the U.S. of the A has been sh*tting out TV movies/mini series for an age. Although some of the recent ones have been quite good (The Lost Room, Alice). Some of my favourite TV movies are Asteroid (1997 starring The Terminator and Aliens' Michael Biehn no less) and Sole S...

Re: Do I Buy a Dreamcast?
As has been mentioned the Dreamcast has a massive selection of emulators and homebrew and they are so simple to get up and running (no console modification required) that mine spent many years under the TV even long after the PS2 had returned to it's box. Also, if you do fancy some console modificat...

Re: Atari 7800
It's a nice, and fairly cheap, little system to own. The arcade ports are pretty good (Galaxians, Asteroids etc) and its also backwardly compatible with the 2600 which throws open lots of extra opportunities for game collecting without having to buy 2 systems straight away. The only thing that peopl...
