Re: MAME Arcade Stick?

If cost isnt particularly an issue you could consider buying an X Arcade joystick setup. Check out: http://www.gremlinsolutions.co.uk/xarcade.php I've got the X-Arcade™ 2 Player console and managed to source it from fleabay for around £80 delivered. Have to say its one of the best things I've bought...

Re: Internet Explorer 8 - Quick Question

Possibly the best plugin for Firefox IMO. It allows you to sync your bookmarks between multiple PCs that have firefox installed. You can also access your bookmarks via the web too if you happen to be on a PC that doesnt have the plugin installed. Hopefully there will be a Chrome version come out at ...

Re: Internet Explorer 8 - Quick Question

Agreed IE8 is a big improvement on IE7. From a work perspective I never saw reason to rollout IE7 however we will be doing so with IE8.

Watch out for Automatic Updates as MS are due to enforce it very soon.

Re: DOCTOR WHO IS ON TONIGHT

Cant stand the new incarnation of Dr Who. Gimme classic Who any day!

However I did watch this episode mainly coz it was the first one shown in HD. It looked fantastic especially on the desert scenes. Hopefully all future ones will be in HD too.

Re: New Red Dwarf tonight

I didnt expect much tbh and it was 'ok' nothing more. The plot was pretty poor and for me the whole characters jumping back to Earth just didnt work at all. Shame really coz it could have been so much better.

Re: What Films Have you Watched Recently?

Working my way through classic 80s movies atm. Watched Roadhouse again over the weekend. My missus has never seen it!

Gotta love some of the lines in this film especially 'but I'm on my break....stay on it!'.

Re: From the forum question for issue 64

For PC it has to be Call of Duty (The original one). Having played MOHAA to death vCOD is where things really took off with online play as people started to get broadband.

Going further back tho it has to be something like Goldeneye on the N64. My mates and I wasted many hours playing this in MP.

Re: What Films Have you Watched Recently?

Watched Good Luck Chuck last week expecting it to be a pile of poo bar eyeing up Jessica Alba. Turn out to be quite funny and worth a watch.

Also Sky+ Strange Days to watch again as it was shown in HD. Love that film. The concept is superb.

Have just started following you. :D

I find I use Twitter more than Facebook now as its more or less like a news service and great for keeping in touch with what people and companies are up to.

R Type is my all time fav game so no choice for me!

I have played Gradius probably just as much tho as I'm some what a fan of shoot'em ups in general.

Altho not my favourite track (DS Delfino Square is my fav) I love playing on Rainbow Road in particular on the Wii in private sessions with my friends as I seem to be the only one out of all my friends that can actually play the track. It's a guaranteed win for me pretty much! :D

For me its hard to imagine life without playing games. I'm always playing on one of my many consoles or computers. I do find that I have less time for games that require lots of hours input now tho like god games etc. Also, I run a Call of Duty Clan and I'm 35 and our oldest member is nearly 51! :D
