Re: My new show The Nostalgia Half Hour

It’s frustrating when people join just to solely spam their YouTube channel and not join in generally or talk about the magazine which the forum is about.

Read the rules

Wish these people’s posts would be deleted

Re: Buying CD's

Mentioned it before but all this 'what happens if the service goes tits up' i wouldnt worry about. Far more important things to worry about than that, Apple/Spotify arent going anywhere Just got a new car and i thought there wasnt a CD player (as its all bluetooth). Found it tucked away deep in the ...

Re: Today

Yeah i dont get it. I'm on two pro boards forums, second i have access to one the other doesnt work. Then when i somehow reset my password for the other board to access it the other one doesnt work. Very frustrating !

Those 'select all the images with a car or shop front' are annoying !

Re: Today

^Totally agree, Marcopoloman should never have been banned. Changing the AUP afterwards (and still banning him before) was totally out of order. Specially when in the past hes spent tons of his free time deleting spam/sorting out reported stuff etc. Must admit i've only just got access to retrocante...

Re: From the forum: 191

Speedball 2: 'Icecream Icecream' ! Just brings back great memories. An excellent playable game, sliding around beating people up and using the many clever powerups made it a dream game. The difficulty level was just about right, against the top teams it was a very fast affair but enjoyable as anythi...

Re: Music Thread

I know it should be 'about' the music but if theres a song and i think 'thats not too bad' then i realise its by Olly Murs feat Robbie Williams also 'feat' Ariana Grande then i would turn it off and think 'urrrgh'. Things like X Factor Pop Idol type stuff has ruined the charts, before that we used t...

Re: Music Thread

Are you quite young ? There’s some total crap on that list. Olly Murs, Cheryl, Little Mix etc. Urrrrgh. Reads like a Now that’s what I call music album ! Way too much pop stuff on it

How singers like Olly Murs are that popular is depressing as anything

Re: Fighting Fantasy

Nah i'm the opposite. Fighting Fantasy to me were the best books around, started it all off until the copycat ones appeared. Dont get me wrong Lone Wolf is decent (Remember there was also a Ninja series around back then ? Avenger i think ?) but i love all those books, specially the early FF ones. Th...

Gone old skool Bought a Soda Stream ! I drink Coke Zero like anything so i thought a cheaper way might be this soda stream. Pretty good so far, got some 'Coke Zero' (Or Rolla Cola) from Amazon and its not bad, bit of a different taste but i'm not that fussed by that. Just a nice cold fizzy drink. Th...

Re: Buying CD's

I have practically unlimited data so with my phone hooked up to my car while I'm driving, which I do a lot of, I have everything I want to hear at my fingertips. It's great. Yeah i got a new phone a few months ago. Used to having 4 GB data allowance, the new contracts 100 GB a month ! Did ask for l...

Re: Cellphone Game Archiving (J2ME, N-Gage and others)

Be interesting what happens in the future. Always thought that about my old Apple apps, i buy a ton of games for my phone and previously on iTunes you could backup the .ipa files. Now you cant ! Its all in the 'cloud' but the problem is when a dev doesnt renew his license then the games seem to disa...

Re: What grinds your gears ?

Yeah if it was being sold theres a good chance it was sat on their drive for a fair bit and used for the odd test run if someone came to see it. A good long journey on the motorway should help or perhaps a replacement battery. Just probably wasnt used much as they were trying to sell it
