Re: What Films/TV Have you Watched Recently?

Hmmm. Saw Parasite. Normally oscar winners mean in my language avoid the film like the plague.

It was alright, think over hyped, think i expected more due to all the praise. Its a watch once and never again film

Everyone goes ahhhhh such a shame but in the later years it was full of cheap tat, it wasnt that amazing shop it 'seemed' to be in the 80s I prefer buying online and then that frees up my weekend so i dont have to go i...

Re: From the Forum - Issue 204: The Nostalgia Effect

Nostalgia's huge for me, you get that 'warm glow' the second you load up an old favourite from yesteryear which reminds you of your childhood. Reminds you of cycling back from town with this prized game in your bag. That new smell or printed card and the first time you load up the game to see the lo...

Re: What Films/TV Have you Watched Recently?

After seeing Empires top 100 films i thought i would give Dark Knight a try. Not bad but wasnt blown away. Not a huge Marvel/DC fan but heard such good things, of course Heath Ledger was superb in it.

Got a few old classics to watch, Fargo probably next

Re: What games/consoles have you bought this week??

Yeah shame about the Data East one. For arcade games which are some of my favourites (Like Bubble Bobble) i'll get for sure. Either way its good to see what ones are coming out also for the other ones (Super Impluse) As you say the shipping costs etc are bad, waited a while for the Bubble Bobble one...

Re: What games/consoles have you bought this week??

Tempting ! I'll probably leave it as it is. Just happy as hell i have a mini Bubble Bobble game like this, looking forward to seeing what other ones they do. The Super Impulse ones are great (have them all bar one) but are more a gimmick to put on a shelf. These ones are good as you can actually pla...

^Senzer feedback - yawn

Yeah the Mario article was better than i thought as i thought it 'may' have been much of the same. As ely says i really enjoyed it. Really enjoyed the Stormlord II article and the Spectrum Next feature. The Marble Madness article gave me some great nostalgic memories as well

Re: Retro Gamer - Issue 203

More Mario articles? Is there anything else to tell? Issues with Mario, Zelda, Sonic and the sorts on the cover are the ones that make me save my money, unless there is an article I really want to read. Get your point but I presume these sell well so if it helps the mag I don’t mind the odd mario o...

Re: The Star Wars thread

I reallly enjoyed it. Think people over analyse it too much. Was good entertainment. Never gonna please everyone as JJ said

I’m fine with all the merchandise. If it wasn’t for that there might not be new films or TV shows. All good

Re: The Star Wars thread

It’s very exciting when a new films put. I’m a big fan so did enjoy the film a lot. As you say was it ground breaking. Nah. It was very enjoyable Think the lesbian kiss was stupid at the end but not a huge issue. Just more PC rubbish A fair few surprises in the film. As usual the characters and spac...

Amazon are very good at refunds if you contact them compare to eBay which takes forever

The few times I’ve had an issue they’ve refunded me almost immediately.
