Re: Questions for Tony 'Daley Thompson' Pomfret

Were you disappointed you didn’t have a chance to work on the more superior 8 bit, the ZX Spectrum ?

Re: Kickstarter tracker

Yeah i cant see how you can blame RG if you do go for one and it fails. No one sues people on a forum if they post a kickstarter and people go for it.

Also on Facebook Retro Gamer posted a kickstarter link to a new retro book (without any disclaimers etc). Think we have to stop worrying so much

Re: What Films/TV Have you Watched Recently?

Yeah the trailer was very good, first episode was amusing and then it turned a bit more dark. Apparently they've signed up for a second season.

Re: What Films/TV Have you Watched Recently?

Signed up to the UFC app, £6.99 a month. Quite good as it has its own app on a Samsung TV Its superb but damn loads of buffering at times, having to pause, play again, forward back to the place. When its working its great, started off at UFC 100 and i'm now on UFC 118 (working my way upwards !). For...

On a lighter note....

Barney is close to where I live and it's been amusing to hear people constantly pronouncing it wrong.

Re: My new game for AMSTRAD CPC (and new website)

Fair enough. But why dont you talk about the magazine, issues or articles etc ? Theres plenty of forums aimed just at homebrew, you could have joined here, spoken about the mag, speak about your love for retro games and get involved. Then talk about the game. If i joined particular forums and with m...

Re: Virtual Pinball

I've tried and tried but i cant justify buying one at the moment. Gutted ! Its something for the future, got a lot of gadgets already so i might (oh no !) sell one i dont use so much in order to possibly get this. Seen a few builds on youtube where they've got the proper pinball type of stand which ...

Re: My new game for AMSTRAD CPC (and new website)

Been like that for years here, just a way of stopping new users appearing just to post a website/youtube link to spam it and then they disappear forever. Dont talk about the magazine or retro stuff in general, simply spam something and go. Lots of other forums are the same

Virtual Pinball

Never knew about these until recently, one of my retro mates (Aaron) recently bought one for £600 (a good price, many are around £1000), theres quite a few on ebay, heres a great looking one... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yUB2vw78aSY Basically its like it runs a 'Pinball emulator' and you choose...

Re: Coronavirus

Getting a bit ridiculous now, theres now pictures of Corbyn going against the rules and not social distancing. I'm no Corbyn fan but its a joke now, the press must be ready to jump out and take a picture when any MP is too close to someone. Not upset by what Cummings did nor Corbyn

Re: Coronavirus

Basically all MP's are as bad as each other, MP's from different parties have taken the mick with lockdown rules. But slate them all not just one from one party, criticize all of them or don't criticize any of them. Don't just single out one due your own biased political beliefs. Someones Facebook h...

Re: Coronavirus

Again the worst people in politics are the ones who are so one-sided (Sorry Merman but like you !). Theres been two Labour MP's who went against the rules, Kinnocks son who visited (from a distance) his mum and dad on Neil Kinnocks birthday. I wish i could do that to my poor mum who lives alone but ...

White lines - finished it finally

This was quite hyped up on Netflix. Started off okay but got very bored of it. Watched it to the end but it wasn’t great sadly
