Re: Gradius

The Gradius games are great, really playable and well worth a bash.

One thing to concider tho, with your referance to the supercomputer is that the original arcade cabs would often suffer horrendous slow down!

Return Fire, I know its a 3D0 title but its a classic.

Gran Turismo 2, so much better than the 1st one IMHO.

And the tablets I take for the Diabetes prohibit me from having a drink, I found this out the hard way by having one glass of cider. And then feeling rotten for 3 ...

As much as I love R-type`s music. I have to say Slap Fight, it so isnt a shoot em up soundtrack but it fits it so well. I love the tune for the 1st stage with the trumpet like fanfare, ingenious.

The Force, it was just so useful. Adding extra power and being able to absorb bullets and also being able to use it to fly into smaller enemies without using firepower.

R9, because it always felt so fluid, any mistake was very much your own. And if you are very careful you can touch scenery with it, heck on some levels its the only way thru!

Blast Corps, I know it might end up as a whole load of CGI but heck it might just work! Metroid Prime or any of the Metroids infact. Legend of Zelda - Ocarina of Time well it was almost like a film and I think it would transfer across very well. R-Type, imagine a younger version of Jacki Chan fighti...
