Love Ren and Stimpy. Favorite episodes are the ones where they are firefighting dalmations and the ren goes insane in the spaceship episode.

I play mostly classic games. I agree that most newer games (at least that I've seen) are rehashes and not very original. Portal is about the only game I can think of that is recent that I really enjoyed.

Arcades back in the late 80s consisted of two types of games; video arcade games and fruit machines. Corrected. If we're judging worth by prevalance, there was only 1 pinball table in the 3 arcades I used as a kid, a tatty old Playboy. No end of fruit machines, including a whole slew of video ones ...

Pinball machines have nothing to do with our part of the gaming world and using any space in the magazine to cover them is not only a boring waste of space but another intresting article has to be left out to put this junk in. The only thing that might be interesting is a round up of the pinball ma...

As recommended I'd pick up a conversion cabinet. It'd be much easier. That's what I did. Good luck with your project!

My favorites are: Cyclone Black Knight 2000 (own this one) High Speed Black Hole Elvira and the Party Monsters (believe it or not it's actually pretty good) Medival Madness which has already been mentioned is also great. You can play all of these in Visual Pinball, but if you get the chance to play ...

I enjoy both. A lot of the games mentioned in the mag are completely new to me (having grown up in the US) but I do enjoy just seeing pictures and reading about stuff I already new about.

I like just about any 80s music. Even stuff my friends cringe at like Hall and Oates, Huey Lewis, etc.

I'm also in a 1980s New Wave cover band. :)

Recent modern games I'm enjoying a lot are Geometry Wars and Shadowrun. I don't like most modern games to be honest but I do enjoy these.

I can't get the sound to work properly on my Mame version. But, it plays slick as always. Also one of the most accurate arcade ports ever put on the Atari 2600. In fact, here's a couple of treats for you guys... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XmM2oDSJ--c http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J0kWqjDUu7o&m...

For classic games it would have to be Defender for the Atari 2600. Got it the day it was released (near my birthday) and was so disappointed in it. I understand that given the limits of the 2600 it was OK, but at age 10 I didn't think of it that way. I just loved the arcade version so much and my e...
