Re: Bluetooth Spectrum Keyboard

I also have cancelled my pledge. However there is an issue, a big issue, and that is Kickstarter's Ts & Cs. You can't cancel/reduce a pledge for a Kickstarter project within the last 24hours if that project has achieved it's funding goal. See https://www.kickstarter.com/terms-of-use Specifically: " ...

Re: From the forum issue 101

Planetoids for me, arcade perfect clone of Defender. The sound was spot on. Fast and deadly, yet when mastered, or at least half decent, you got a real buzz from racking up a big score.

Re: Official Feedback Issue 100 + Issue 1

Oh wow, oh WOW! Braybrook, Hubbard and a C64 type-in! This issue is simply amazing. Well done Darren and Co., you've done us proud with the 100th issue. I remember talking to Markopoloman at the Retro replay last year, and he was lamenting he couldn't get hold of an issue 1. Very cool that it's been...

Re: Free mug for new subscribers....

Yup, came onto the forum to air a complaint about the 'Claim your free gift today' email. I honestly thought, before opening the email, that as a long term subscriber I was about to get some sort of 'loyalty' gift. Never asked for one or expected one, but thought hey that's nice. Until I opened the ...

Re: From the forum - Retro Gamer turns 100

A milestone issue for a milestone magazine. No other magazine celebrates the past in such a relevant way.
Have been a subscriber since issue 4 and have enjoyed something or learnt something from every one of the 100 issues. Awesome work! Long may it continue.

Re: From the Forum issue 99

C64 was the first computer I owned, and as such was my first computer love. I learned how to program on that machine and it sent me along a lifelong path in computing both professionally and privately. A lot of my friends had a Spectrum and I couldn't see the attraction of their games, until I saw K...

Cracking issue to end the year with!

Totally enjoying the ZZap64 and Cover Tapes articles. Plenty o' retro goodness in the rest of the articles to last me a while.

A fantastic two days of retrogaming. Meeting some of the regulars of these forums, is always a pleasure. Seeing TMR and playing his game, wanted to hang round and ask loads more questions but had to leave. Getting Oli Frey to sign some stuff I bought was a particular brilliant moment, and being able...

Re: Issue 92 Feedback Thread

Finally got round to reading this issue and I thought it was abso-bloody-lutely great, even enjoyed the Amstrad collectors piece. ;)

Steve Turner and the End of the 8 Bits were, for me, the stand out features. A slice of 8 bit gold.

Sonic & Mario at the Olympics Games on the Wii.

It's the one that me and the kids can play together, though everyone wants to be Sonic in the 100m. :)

Love the cover and the Collectors Guide.

Having just read all of Cecco's Log in Crash, I'm really looking forward to the Raffaele Cecco interview.

Retro Gamer, Sun and Beer, great combination!.

Hotel and tickets booked.
Staying at the venue this year and coming up on the Friday night. So far my group of retro fans, heading to the event, has grown to six.

Very excited!

Name badge please.

PS: Maybe we ought to have some sort of retro team event. :)

VVVVVV by Terry Cavanagh, superb indie game. Get it if you haven't got it yet.

According to the stats at the end, I died 521 times on the Final Challenge. Frickin tough!
