Re: From the Forum - Issue 204: The Nostalgia Effect

Only want my shelves filled with games I want to play really, definitely not into buying for the sake of it or to complete a collection. It is getting more difficult to collect in any case, thankfully i held onto most of my collections from Spectrum and Amiga days. A part of me wants to enjoy retro ...

Re: GBA/GBA SP backlit screen mod

For less than £20 i acquired a decent condition 2ds console, hacked it and can now run gba and gb games really nice. Also a great way to enjoy game gear games without forking out a fortune for a difficult to install screen mod!

Wanting to complete some sets with zx spectrum games bu noticing that ebay is starting to run dry with decent games for that computer, had to h...

Re: Ebay is flooded with repros. Can anything be done?

Recently been dragged into this world, proud owner of no fakes mainly because the games that I normally get are not or wont be faked, in general. However purchase pokemon games recently and all seem legit but having a hard job deciding if my pokemon platinum box is faked. Its an EU version, has a ho...

RIP Ben. Your music seemed to be everywhere in the 80s and my particular favourite was Deflektor, I still fire that game up just to listen to the title music!

Re: From the forum: 185

Discovered the wonder of arcade games at campsite pub in Cornwall in the early 80s. Being small and failing to convince my parents to give me 10p, I was content enough to watch the attract sequence where the invader scuttles across the screen and snatches the upside down letter Y endlessly.

Polymega Console

Cannot find a scrap of info on the forum about this, though would be hard to not have heard about this if you followed the E3 event last week. Its the Polymega, built in retro cd rom support from the start, expanding to various cart based systems via modules. its not crowdfunded and the final protot...

Re: Atari VCS

massively overpriced, made worse by the 'wooden finish' version being $100 more! Oddly though, the new joysticks seem a decent deal and look smart.

gonna pass on this, really was hyped for it in the past 12 months to :(

Subscriber Covers

1st post so dont want to go over board negative, since the magazine is top drawer! however, the subscriber covers, nice as they are, do not, in my opinion look as nice as the shelf version. this is quite subjective of course but the shelf covers look more retro, reminding you of adverts and game box...
