Re: From The Forum Issue 202

Midgar from Final fantasy 7.
So many memorable moments, from the opening mission to the destruction of sector 7, and the motorbike chase sequence. And who can forget that unsettling scene following the trail of blood and destruction in shinra hq. I'll never forget that creepy music.

Re: From The Forum Issue 201

My favourite is Metroid 2 on Gameboy, it really captures the feel of the original. But surely Pokemon Red/blue is the greatest. I've replayed them more than any other game.

Heart of darkness guide

Hi RG
A few issues back you covered Eric chahi's another world. Heart of darkness deserves some attention too and often overlooked. Please do a guide or article on this one.
Cheers.

Re: Subs Department Epic Failure

I had to renew my sub under a new credit card. I was told my sub would restart with issue 193, skipping 192. I emailed and asked about it and they said 192 was out of stock. Not sure how that happens but i wasn't even late in renewing my sub. Also second time I've enquired about my sub and they mist...

Scorpion hands down. "Get over here" is the most remorable line from the characters. And his flame skull fatality is so metal!

Re: Tracking lateness

I recently renewed my subscription and asked whether I'll miss out on any issues. This is the response I got: "Subscription number 48189xxxxx will expire with issue 191 (21.02.2019) Your new subscription 48240xxxxx will commence with issue 193- unfortunately issue 192 is out of stock so we cannot se...

How about Eric Chahi's Heart of Darkness? Ocean was the publisher for the Australian release. Man what an awesome and creative game, it's the stuff of childhood imagination and belongs right up there with Oddworld and Another World.

Re: From the forum: 188

Easy. FF7 takes the cake. It's really the only PS1 game everybody is still talking about 20+ years later, and probably the most anticipated game remake of all time. What's left to say that hasn't already been said? If you've been living under a rock all this time, stop what you're doing and play thi...

Re: From The Forum issue 187 - Favourite SNK game

Has to be Metal Slug, man what a classic. Everything about this game is fantastic - the sprite animation, enemy design, soundtrack, the intricate little details scattered throughout the levels. You can shoot and interact with objects apparently part of the background, not adding to gameplay but furt...

Nobody's mentioned Dr Mario? Yeah tetris is a classic but I find Dr Mario(NES) far more creative, with additional game mechanics and an actual objective - wipe out the viruses.

Flashback. Not your conventional action platformer, not related to Another World, but more or less the same concept. Still can't past level 2....
