Re: Where can I play the classic game Elite?

OK, thanks for the info and the links! The Frontier website lists the game Elite, but there doesn't appear to by anyway to play it on your PC. I've read about the NES version of Elite, and I wonder if it would work on one of the many NES clone consoles out today, because most of them have a NTSC-PAL...

Where can I play the classic game Elite?

Elite only came out here in the States on the Apple II, and I do have an app on my iPad where you can play and buy Spectrum games, but using the onscreen keyboard can be a real chore. But I still really want to play it-should I just download a BBC Micro emulator, or is there a website where you can ...

I do wonder how different programming games for the NES was compared to the Spectrum and the Commodore 64. I mean, they were all 8-bit machines, but you have different color palettes and processors.

So the industry in the e...

When was the NES released in the UK and the rest of Europe?

I often wonder about this-I don't think it was released in 1985, like it was here in the USA. I also wonder what it was like for British game developers to develop games for the NES, as opposed to the ZX Spectrum. For example, Codemasters had the Camerica label here, but they also made ZX Spectrum g...

Thank you so much for your great magazine!...

I live in the USA, and there's nothing like Retro Gamer here, so the magazine is a real blessing to me! I love retro games, as well as their history, and I've learned so much from Retro Gamer about, for example, computers and software that we never got over here-like the ZX Spectrum and loading scre...
