Re: Quick Reference Guide to Retro Metroidvania/Platform Adventure Games
^Like I said I sorted DE as an outlier. I prefer the term systemic game to IS since immersion is pretty subjective and they aren't like other simulation games. Latest updates: -Info and mini-reviews for Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin (NDS, 2006) and Below the Root (C64, 1984) BtR is one of the very f...

Re: Quick Reference Guide to Retro Metroidvania/Platform Adventure Games
Latest updates: Chibi-Robo! (GC) and Battle of Olympus (NES) Really enjoyed the setting and story of Chibi-Robo, but was kind of bored with most of the gameplay and didn't care for the battery mechanic in combination with the day/night cycle. I will probably try the NDS sequel though as it supposedl...

Re: Good Retro Games by Region of Origin - Visualized!
Basically done with this now. Let me know if I missed any good games that aren't too obscure or if there are still mistakes. I can also link each phrase to something, but I'm not sure what to use it for yet if at all. Could link to gameplay or something like a HG101 or retro gamer article I suppose.
