Re: Lack of 80s cartoon games on consoles back in the day.
Snes had loads. Bugs bunny, Tiny toons, Road runner, Tazmania, Goof troop, Bonkers. and dozens more. All 90s though. It seems most of the 80s stuff git the C64, Speccy and Amstrad. I just gound it weird because the really big franchise that had Toylines like Transformers, Thundercats, Heman, Gi joe ...

Lack of 80s cartoon games on consoles back in the day.
It really is strange how many never turned up. Was it because the more popular cartoons were early 90s and just that bit too old at the time. A lot of cartoons like M.A.S.K, Thundercats, Centurions, Transformers, Action Force got 8bit home computer versions, but it seems like it was not until the 90...

Re: Your New Retro Gamer Community Team
So, revisiting this thread then.
How does everyone feel about the new and improved Forum, and new features to make it a much better place.
after all this time, it really has become the pinnacle of Gaming Forums. Honestly I can't see what else they could have done to make it better.

Underwurlde on the speccy
played it on Rare replay. I got some enjoyment out of some of the others like atic atac, but underwurlde is awful.
and Mortal Kombat, a Fighting game where every character has the exact same moves apart from the specials.

Re: Retro Gaming Chat on Discord - join in at 9pm every Sunday
Yes, the Retro Gaming Chatroom hosted on Discord is on this weekend, Sunday 9pm to be precise, so I hope some people who are brave enough can join the entertainment when it begins, and it won't just be about slagging off the Amstrad either. We will talk about non-Sugar related items if you like. Sp...

Re: When was the NES released in the UK and the rest of Europe?
The NES was ignored in the UK until the NES turtles pack in 1990. The Guy who made the decision to create the bundle said he did it against Nintendo of USAs wishes. Hr eckons sales for that Holiday period were up by as much as 2000 percent. and it sold well for the following year an went past the 1m...

Re: Your New Retro Gamer Community Team
I could care less.    It really winds me up when I see Americans say this and even more when they can't see that it's wrong. There is no point, they are adamant they are right. Even when you point out that it literally makes no sense. Same as when I hear Them say this games is ...

Re: Your New Retro Gamer Community Team
That works by me. What about singular megathreads for discussions on popular retrogames? I hate megathreads on Forums for particular subjects. Nothing wrong with a thread becoming large naturally, but the problem with having a megathread for one particur item is twofold. 1. you will always get that...
