Re: Coronavirus

Where did I “push” my beliefs on anyone? Simply stating facts. And the fact that Boris is now proposing restrictions end in February to appease Tory rebels shows how little he is following the science. I would be critical of any leader more interested in votes than health. You've blurted out your L...

Re: Jeff Minter picks "No Man's Sky" as his "Game of a Generation"

I really need to try and get into this. I just wondered around looking for bits of a ship (or something), got bored, died, turned it off and never went back! It's playable in VR though and as I've just got VR, I might give it another bash. So is Elite............ Yeah, I've got it as it was free. j...

Re: Today

Apparently, because I'm old now (over 50) I now qualify for a Flu vaccination - well, according to the woman from the doctors that called today! Never had one before, so something to tick off the list I've not got :D

Sadly I have not played Chess against a live opponent in a while now, instead playing versions on both my PS3 and Tablet.

If you try playing against a dead one, you'll probably win!

I could go on. Which would be fine IF the politician...

Re: Retro Gamer Issue 214 - Turrican

Mine arrived today too. The paper envelope was ripped down the right hand side so the mag was actually coming out of it! The edge is only slightly damaged but bloody hell!! I can understand why they have done this as it's far better than nasty for the environment plastic but I hope I don't get chewe...

Re: Coronavirus

You think masks do nothing to protect us? Why? I don't trust the government's U-turn on them. At the beginning of the pandemic, the official position was that face masks were of no benefit to the general public and we went through the peak of infection (when 900 people were dying a day) under no ob...
