Re: Nintendo Switch Discussion

Story mode in a football game sounds stupid to me. Anyhow, I'm thinking of getting a Switch at some point in time, it looks like a really good console and my girlfriend has one with MK8D, so it'd be awesome to play with her online. ^^

Re: World of Spectrum down?

Yeah, it says that they had a large number of reports on the message now, so maybe it will be sorted out soon. That said, use the Wayback Machine if you need anything from there, until it is back up.

Re: What grinds your gears ?

When people judge others for stuff that happened in the past, people change rapidly especially after the age of 13 or so, though I'm not much different from how I was in 2016 I was willing to give someone a chance while other people wouldn't... It bugs me that people can't leave past things in the p...

Re: What are you currently playing?

Sonic 1 for the Master System, probably one of the best games of all-time for me (better than the Mega Drive version by a notch)! Obviously setting the emulator to emulate PAL/50Hz. ^^

I'm up to Labyrinth Act 1. Less annoying than the MD Labyrinth Zone.

Also, softmodding the Wii isn't too hard, and it's worth it just for playing modified games like NewerSMBWii, and also for emulation which it does quite well. ^-^ I didn't play the...

Re: Introduce yourself

Thanks for the warm welcome! :)
I'll be sure to do that with my avatar too, and unfortunately I've never seen an issue/copy of Retro Gamer before in my local store/supermarket... :/

Re: Any NES or SNES gamers here?

Still got a PAL SNES in the attic, with some games. My dad gave his NES to his brother some years ago. However, I just use emulation nowadays to play classics, I bought a PSP-3000 for emulation on the go too. ^-^

Re: Introduce yourself

Hey, I'm a young (15 years old) British retro gamer who is also into computing. ^~^ Found this forum when searching for retro gaming communities on Google and this forum seems to suit my needs and looks nice. I'm into mostly the 8-bit and 16-bit console eras, having grown up with a SNES and Mega Dri...
