Re: Magazine Quality - Latest issue
thegamesnotoveryet - I have about 3 rooms filled with my stuff, LOL! Sometimes I get sad over how much I have spent over the years but then I get happy over how much fun they have brought into my life. Paul : Did you ever play Psycho Fox back in the day? I used to rent that one out all the time and ...

Re: Magazine Quality - Latest issue
I just hope there are thousands who feel the same way like us about loving paper over digital. I just can't imagine sitting down with a kindle. I stare enough as it is at screens, I think it is why I find a magazine to be so relaxing. I love reading on my bed with a pillow against the wall to suppor...

Re: Magazine Quality - Latest issue
HAhA!! You're lucky as I would have to pay a fortune for delivery so most of them are good pickings for you as you're a local and all. :-) I agree with you about the paper. Out of curiosity, I went into my dungeon to feel the paper of a very early issue and its like silk!! Only one other magazine I ...

Re: Magazine Quality - Latest issue
I apologize Paul, I was in a foul mood that day and I shouldn't had taken it out on you or anyone on the internet.. You have legitimate complaints, but my post was really just directed at those who do make a fuss over a small tear or something like that. But again, I could have been much, much more ...

Re: Magazine Quality - Latest issue
Jesus, would you like the next issue delivered by a first class chef, with a meal consisting of lobster & the finest caviar known to man. You two are the type of snobs who examine the magazine with a microscope. "Oh look darling, there's a 0.0002mm smear on the left side of Mario's cheek if you look...

Re: Magazine Quality - Latest issue
I think you will find that the majority including me are quite happy with the magazine's paper quality. I haven't noticed smears, papers sticking together or anything like that.Rarely, some articles can strain your eyes but that is not a paper quality issue but an art editor's bad choice of text bei...

Yeah, that was a classic whoopsee. Final fanstasy 9 is such a legendary game that you just can't be forgiven too easily for such a slip up, RG!!

Re: Games that are better on inferior hardware
They already have in this month's issue believe it or not.
Well, sonic on master system anyway. And yes, I preferred it to the mega-drive version but the sequels sucked.

Re: Retro Gamer issue 179
Another brilliant issue. Good to see you guys have transitioned well in-between publishers. There were a couple of okay-ish issues at first but the passion has certainly returned last 2 issues!

Re: Retro Gamer - Issue 178
I thought it was amazing that a guy/girl who was so seriously disabled in his early years to go on to become such a brilliant and inspirational figure in the gaming industry, He had some very awesome stories to tell too. Once again, this issue of Retro Gamer was an awesome read and I'm not just sayi...

Re: Retro Gamer - Issue 178
Yes, for the record I hate football or soccer as its known in Australia but the article was very inspiring and super fun and interesting to read. It didn't matter that the article was super long as I was begging for more by the end. Oh, and Jane Wittaker made me laugh at more than one occasion durin...

Re: Retro Gamer - Issue 178
The Championship Manager feature was absolutely brilliant as was most of the magazine this month.
I didn't really like last issue so good to see a smile on my face as I read Retro Gamer.
Please keep up the good work!

Re: Renting videotapes
Having recently watched the remake of IT on an up-scaled dvd on a big 65 inch tv, I barely noticed the drop in quality at all. I do have a blu-ray player, in fact that was what we used to view it on. I do have blu-rays of my utmost favorite movies but only about 150. Would I be just as happy with a ...
