Re: Nintendo Switch Discussion

I'm still shocked that Violent Ken is even a character in the game since the only other fighting game he's been in was an SNK game ( SVC Chaos ) and not a Capcom Street Fighter . Ultra is definitely a Switch game I'd like to play but with the fact that the original Super Turbo is still awesome and ...

Re: Nintendo Switch Discussion

Had a few hours online today using the pro controller, no problems using analog or dpad & no problems with lag either, just make sure to click same region in search settings. Coincidentally my Online experience today was practically hitch free, even going up against players from Spain and France (I...

Re: Nintendo Switch Discussion

Even as a huge Capcom fan, I just can't justify the price of the game at the moment. I'll wait for a sale, well that and I'm still playing SFV so I don't really want to focus on 2 fighters at this point in time. But I'll probably end up with it just for the portable factor. How are the controls? As...

Re: Nintendo Switch Discussion

Anyone picking up Ultra Street Fighter II today? Took a day off work just to veg out with this game, as someone who has vivid memories of Street Fighter II Turbo on the SNES I must say Ultra Street Fighter II is one polished nostalgia trip! Loving it so much so far, and while I don't think Way of th...

Re: Discuss Section - 169

Given the resurgence of 2D platformers and amazing HD artwork, a game like Dynamite Headdy would do well with a remaster/sequel, it would have the same appeal as Shantae with the craziness of Rayman Origins.

Re: From The Forum issue 169 - 3D Games

Virtua Fighter I remember walking with my family and us stopping in awe when we saw a Saturn running Virtua Fighter for the very first time at a shopfront. We all couldn't believe what we were seeing, and my dad exclaimed "these look just like real people!". I think 3D fighters in general convinced ...

Re: Dragon Slayer - Enemy names

Can I just say, thank you for making this thread! I had no clue that Dragon Slayer was on the Saturn, I knew about Falcom Classics but to this day I never bothered researching since I'm not he biggest YS fan. Loved the Game Boy port, as bad as it was! I played it over and over for hours to see how f...

Re: Sega Saturn Collecting

Did a fair bit of Saturn collecting myself between 2010-2014 and sticking with Japanese releases only. At the time being able to get the likes of Virtua Fighter, Nights, and Sega Rally for less than 5 bucks a pop was awesome. Also was lucky enough to land a few factory sealed games from PlayAsia, su...

Re: What are you currently playing?

Picked up Dreamfall Chapters the physical release on Xbox One. Def worth the wait for the price, and it comes with a soundtrack CD too. Loved Dreamfall on the original Xbox and it's great to finally get back into it after all those years. I can't believe how much of the story and characters I can re...

Re: What are you currently playing?

For me personally it's the presentation. It was developed by Nazca and so the visuals are fantastic as you'd expect from a company who created the Metal Slug games + art style. Also it has some really rather lovely jazzy tunes. It's been re-released loads of times on digital services and also on SN...

I've been flirting with the idea of getting Turf Masters for Switch but I've got a fair few golf games already. What stands out about Neo Turf?

Re: Legend Of Zelda: Breath Of The Wild

I don't think I will ever beat this game, it's obvious how it ends, I'm just having too much fun relishing the journey in between :)
