Re: How Far Behind in the Magazine Issues Are You?
Haha yes I have this too! I am 3 issues behind. The worst I have been is about 10 months maybe. The good thing is that most of the mag doesn't age and is worth reading. Also a reader from the start (wellll... Issue 13 - then bought the back issues, then sold them...LOL) I've been 4 or 5 issues behi...

Re: Retro Gamer - Issue 198
Yes, I go straight to my fave magazines site for the issue now, it is impossible to buy over the counter in Christchurch New Zealand now. Sad. But retailers in NZ screw the public over anyway putting high retails on issues that are actually the older (3 issue previous) issue. So easier to buy onlin...

Re: Subscriber Covers
Seconded Hi folks, first visit back to the forums in a loooong time. hope you're all well. Just wanted to register my opinion on the new sub cover idea, I'm really not a fan. While its a nice idea to provide something unique for those of us who have a subscription, the covers aren't brilliant TBH. A...

Re: Feature on Virtual Reality efforts?
I'd like to see more on retro VR.
Found this site the other week:
http://www.retro-vr.co.uk/test/index.html
With cardboard, etc I'd lov to see some simple early games get the VR treatment:
VR 3D Monster Maze?

Re: From The Forum issue 172 - ZX Spectrum Anniversary
Dare I mention the Vega+ ?! I was seriously looking forward to seeing it emerge, but looking more unlikely as time passes. Let's mention it..... ***SCAM!*** JXD for me - I was a C64 kid, but have fond memories of the early classics on friend's speccies. Orbiter, Manic Miner, Acadia, Bugaboo,...

Re: Retro Gamer - Issue 170
Re the Peripheral Vision Sega control stick - is it really unusual and a 'boon to left handed players' to have buttons to the left of the stick? As a right handed gamer I much prefer to control with my right and 'shoot' with my left? As a Lefty I would hate the Sega control stick. As per Marvin I w...

Re: Retro Gamer - Issue 170
They've barely scratched the surface of 8 bit. There's masses of scope to cover lesser known systems, companies and games, not to mention all the arcade stuff that somehow gets bypassed. Yep - Lots of scope for more Arcade coverage. Enough of the Dizzy - if you want to interview the Olivers - again...

Re: C+VG's Retro Sections from the 90s
Hi All Thanks for your info - I'm not much of a Forum regular, so missed replies until now. I finally found 'Freeplay' on RetroCDN: http://retrocdn.net/index.php?title=Special:Search&limit=20&offset=0&profile=all&search=CVG+UK+Freeplay Issues 1 to 18 = Dave Kelsall's 'Retro Computer Cabin' Issues 19...

You could always contact Keith Ainsworth direct. I think I still have his email address if you would like it, as I used to do lots of trades and buying off him. Same here. In fact Keith ran the "original" Retrogamer Fanzine Now the Original RETRO GAMER Fanzine I'd be *REALLY* interested in seeing :)

Re: What Films/TV Have you Watched Recently?
Well retro TV-wise I've rewatched 'The Prisoner'
Also watched 'The Corner' mini-series by The Wire's creator
New stuff. 'The Americans' latest season, 'The Leftovers', and 'Ray Donovan' someone's recommended 'The Expanse' (?)
Looking forward to final series of 'Halt & Catch Fire' and 'Black Mirror'
