Re: Augmentinel

The pace of Augmentinel is slow enough I think it won't suffer too much, which is why I thought it worth trying.

I'll look into that app when I get home.

Re: Retro Gamer - Issue 195

Fair enough Nick, if there are adults out there enjoying them, no more to be said. Not for me, but you can't please everyone.

Augmentinel

I saw this over on World of Spectrum. Someone has taken The Sentinel, ported it to PC so it runs using the underlying Speccy code for gameplay, but enhanced graphics and audio etc (with options to use elements from other versions of the game). https://simonowen.com/spectrum/augmentinel/ Introduction...

Re: Retro Gamer - Issue 195

Hardly bitching about it, just highlighting that for the target audience, few will find it an attractive freebie. At least with the music there's a certain audience for it, but how many adults are going to take joy from a sheet of stickers? My CD is in the car and I pop it in every now and then, alo...

Re: Sealed dreamcast game

UEFA Soccer for DC is neither rare nor desirable (there aren't any very good footie games on DC, merely competent ones). 99p start and take what you can get for it, since I anticipate there won't be many bidders. being sealed might stand you more chance of getting rid of it.

Re: Nintendo Switch Discussion

Nope. A couple of ports of old console games, nothing really new I can see myself buying. Poor show when the best I'm looking forward to are old RE games from my pile of shame, though at least I never did buy Witcher 3.

A overall view on stickers. Worthless tat that has no place with RG, the subscribers are not 7 years old.

Re: Today

Who are you again? ;)

Sorry to hear it's gone so badly. Very young to be in such a bad way :( Not seeing you often, I was surprised how quickly things progressed. First time, you were fine. Then you had restricted movement. Now you're hardly getting around.

Didn't even know you were getting married, congratulations. Hope you're well for the day and have a great time. My first was rubbish, but the second is one of my best memories.

Re: Cancel Subscription

PSJ binning off the mag is not a good sign!

Yes, he's now ancient with failing eyesight and possibly incontinent, but that's the target market. None of us is getting any younger.

Maybe the senility will make him forget to cancel?

Re: Iain Lee

You never see him in Thumb Bandits, or his documentary, Thumb Candy? He's very much a gamer with a love for retro. Not a fan of his show on Absolute Radio, but when he talks games he's good. I put that down to him doing whatever he needs to do to keep working, it's an odd job if you're in the lower ...

Yes. PSN games are tied to a user account, not a console.
