Re: Wipeout Fury

The original Wipeout on the PS1 wasn't a mess at all, i think it was very accurate for an anti grav sled and meant you actually had to play the game and get a feel for the sleds, not just jump on it an be an expert in 5 mins... I loved the original and have found any release after the original a rea...

Re: Berzerk The Remake

Downloaded it & have been having a wee play around with it. Early signs are ace. Nice slick controls & a good "feel" to the game. I'm not sure if it's just my old laptop but the scrolling between rooms slows right down after I get through the 4th or 5th room. Aside from that, fantastic job, keep up...

Re: Berzerk The Remake

Wonderful, Thank you for the feedback   Will be downloading & testing when I get a chance. :D I loved Smash TV, which lead me to Robotron, which lead me to Berzerk. I'd love to play a version of Berzerk with directional fire. :D Directional fire's an interesting idea. The Berzerk firing ...

Re: Berzerk The Remake

I did download this last night - and then forgot about it today  Just loaded it up and had a run around - very smooth and looks nice, although the smooth looking rooms need a sexy looking naked woman running around, umm errr I mean a better sprite!! You should make it a little different - may...

Berzerk The Remake

A few years back I banged on about doing a Berzerk remake, over the last couple of months have finally started to get things going on it and there's an "alpha" version for download here, or from my homepage (link on signature). It's been a bit of a toughie trying to work out exactly how to do it. I'...

An great thread...dull subject that gave lots of chuckles :D and of course, my final solution!! http://homepage.ntlworld.com/iris.lawson/omnibot%20(6)s.jpg Note the original battery compartment above with the corrosion staining still!! The battery holder just...

Re: PC sound card help please

Hi again, Well I can 100% assure you that a RealTek SPDif will output Dolby Digital and DTS (Certainly where movies are concerned anyway) providing that the correct codecs are installed, although as it doesn't do it "Out of the box" most people don't make the effort. I can't comment on PC games as d...

Re: PC sound card help please

This is a toughie!! Went through this a few months ago when i was setting PC up to run through tv with audio out of SP/DIF to surround unit. There's several steps to go through: 1. On my PC i have two different audios. the first one sends audion out of the GFX card HDMI socket and the other runs the...

Has anyone got a Wireless headset for their PC?

Am asking as i have set up my PC through my 42" HD Plasma and have Bluetooth keyboard and mouse and wireless gamepad an joystick so can slob on sofa whilst gaming. I'm a bit of a BF2 nut and usually use a headset and was looking at the Logitech Clearchat Wireless. I've heard mixed reviews about it f...

Re: Film sequels with explanations that we really didn't need!!!

Wow, that kicked some sh1t off :-) Well, I'm all for the general sequel debate.......but my point was more on the mysterious films....like highlander and the Matrix that by the end of the film haven't answered all of the questions....but your not kinda that bothered. Like in Highlander....where did ...

Film sequels with explanations that we really didn't need!!!

Having watched the original Highlander last night, it reminded me of the abysmal sequel that followed where an explanation was made into why everyone was where they were and what had happened to get them there. IMO it was jus totally unnecessary to explain all of that. No one wanted an explanation, ...
