Re: Discuss Time! Issue 157

I'd love to see a reboot of Star Wars: Rogue Squadron. The N64 original was SO MUCH FUN! It got a couple of sequels on the Gamecube but then disapeared... Bring it back I say!

Re: Issue 155

I found the Burger Time article to feel a little bit, erm, well - boring. Sorry guys! It was sandwiched between NES and Empire Strikes Back articles, and there was a clear difference in both my levels of excitement and how interesting the article was...

How did you guys find it?

Re: Introduce yourself

Once you perform your first hadouken, you just can't go back man. It's a great feeling!

Maybe you should give it a try? Seriously. SF2 still stands up today!

Re: Issue 155

The NES cover does have that instant recognition - if you're in the supermarket or newsagents and you see it in the corner of your eye, and you played it "back in the day" then you're more likely to pick it up. I can see it appealing to people who no longer play Retro games but have that nostalgia f...

Re: Retro Gamer Issue 154

I just want to say the Quake article was a treat. I knew it would be, so in a weird way I delayed my reading so that I would read that one on my birthday. Was not disappointed guys - thanks for giving me some quality reading as I celebrate my aging!

Re: Retro Gaming. How far Back is your cut off point.

For me, I'll play anything as long as it's recommended and I can find a way to get it working. If something requires a specific niche console (I'm looking at you Fujitsu FM Towns Marty) then my cut off point is the price of entry. If you aren't comfortable with anything before 16 bit, then I recomme...

Re: From The Forum issue 156 - Game Boy Advance

Got mine off eBay after Christmas 2001. Absolutely loved the GBA! Favourite game has to be Golden Sun. Could've easily been a trope of an RPG but did just enough differently to feel fresh and exciting in a time where Final Fantasy was still in it's prime. And you could play it on the bus!

Re: Introduce yourself

Hi all! I'm Mark, from Leeds, UK. I'm big into the 16 bit era (especially the SNES). I also love the arcade games of the 80's and 90's and recently ordered a bar-top custom arcade machine to play them on. I especially love Street Fighter 2. (Turbo on SNES, SSF2 on Arcade). I'm also on a Gaming Podca...
