How is Nights 2 when compared to 1? I was going to get it for 8 quid a while back but the numerous comments on here made me think twice. Is it really that bad? I guess it's not that bad . I think the problem for me anyway was that I had such fond memories of the original that I don't think anything...

Hmm...worst game of the year. So far for me it would have to be Beast Wars for the PS1. It was like the game developers only watched the theme song to said television series and built their game around that. What they ended up with is polygon breakup and pop-up up the yazoo, awful music, terrible vo...

I echo everyones sentiments on Panzer Dragoon Saga. I held a copy in my hand years and years ago at a Babbages and for some reason never purchased it. Other than that I wish I had purchased Persona 1 when it was released and all those super special editions of Working Designs stuff. I just have the ...

Castlevania: SotN was the first and last Castlevania game I ever played (purchased at Wal-mart for a mere ten dollars). Because of this game though I now suffer from Upside-down-castle-syndrome, I am too afraid to play any game involving a castle for fear it will reverse on me later in the game

I completely forgot about the statue bit from CT: Ghost Head. I think you are right though, the parents of the main character buried her because they thought she had the personality of the "Cursed Twins", Bobby and Dan, so they tried to kill her.

Now I have to go back and replay it. :D

Hmmm...too many great games to pick from. The first thing that came to mind though was the last level in Nights into Dreams when your character sort of takes a leap of faith and begins to fly. And I don't know if it really counts as a "level" but my I was in awe when you fought your first colossus i...

I remember seeing Arachnophobia at the movies when I was little and enjoyed it. Of course I always liked spiders so I was going to like it anyway. Wow, I completely forgot about Eight Legged Freaks! I don't think I ever bought that on DVD. I agree that movie was better. It was a fun little sci-fi fl...

I loved Earthworm Jim's idle time animations. The one where he flips his laser gun and then accidently shoots himself in the face. I thought those were clever :D

I also liked the several mentions of James from SH2 that Heather makes in SH3.

It was a tough race between Sega and Nintendo, but I would have to say Nintendo since Sega hasn't released anything lately that I have played. I can't help liking Nintendo. Anytime they release a new game with their famous plumber brothers it puts a smile on my face. I adored the Yoshi Island games,...

I think I played House of the Dead III last. I didn't realize how rusty I was at those type of games though because I don't think I lasted for fifteen minutes. Sureshot wrote : These (click) I was wondering what that jungle game was called. By far the weirdest intro for me was Battle Arena Toshinden 2. I never liked the games but I did like who ever did the character designs. However, instead of using those designs to make a fluid anime intro, someone decided to do this instead: 2 spring to mi...
