Unknown year, late eighties: Atari XEGS with Bug Hunt, Pacman and some other games. Only my second experience of games, after a coin-op machine. Hasn't really left a strong impression on my memory. 1991: Commodore 64, the package that came with the cartridge from the C64GS (with the excellent Flimbo...

I really don't have a favourite, it all depends on the individual game. I love any simple Space Invaders type games that go on forever. I also like strategy games and the occasional text adventure.

My favourite was the guy who sent in a game that consisted of nothing more than the word "BATMAN"... LOL!

A favourite of mine too, there's something very addictive about trying to get the right answers and the highest rating. (The Archers is a similar, but more unusual game.)

The C64, the first computer I really loved (I had one of Atari's 8-bit computers before that). For a hundred reasons, but maybe especially the sense of community that I got from reading Zzap/Commodore Force back in the day.

I feel the same, I lost interest in games in the mid-nineties and only came back to it recently when I started buying old games on eBay. Everything from the 16-bit platforms onwards just seemed bland and charmless to me. I got into both of the Sims games as they first came out, but quickly burned ou...
