Which front-ends provide bezels (overlays) to emulators which don't natively have them
Hello, I am in the process of selecting a retrogaming front-end for my new PC. Previously I have been using GameEx for years, and LaunchBox for a little while, but now I am exploring other options. I am at the moment particularly interested in RetroArch and AttractMode. Among the various features I ...

Re: The Google Stadia
It's been about a year, and I am starting to have a different perspective on this... I previously assumed that the only Stadia option was going to be a monthly subscription to be able to play anything from their catalog. In my life I've seen a lot of garbage for consumers from this business model, s...

Re: Which Retro Game would you like to see remade?
What classic title would you like to see be remade? Uhm... "classics" don't need to be remade, I don't see the point since I can always play the original. There are however games of the past which had potential but were bugged or had design flaws that could be removed to turn them into great games....

Re: Konami shoot 'em ups
The US Konami releases where made so hard there impossible just designed to eat your money. How is that different from modern games? :D Arcade-era games are grounded in a very different way of playing a video game. They were supposed to be hard and short, and the focus was literally on how long you...

Re: Why are there so many Amiga fans on this forum?
What have you played on it? Seems like not much if you go to basically an Asteroids clone as the most memorable game. Amiga had a large variety of game genres perhaps due to having both mouse and joystick, while 8bit computers and consoles focused on joystick/gamepad and early PC didn't have joysti...

Currently playing Beneath a Steel Sky on ScummVM. It's one of those graphic adventures I had in my backlog for years but never got around to finish.

Re: Less known retro computers to discover
Yeah let's not turn this into a discussion of what 'less known' means, it was obviously subjective. Anything 80s which you think it's not commonly talked about as much as others is ok.

Less known retro computers to discover
What are in your opinion some less known retro computers of the 80s (or even older) that might be interesting to discover? I've noticed there are emulators for almost anything nowadays, and I'm thinking about trying out some niche systems such as BBC Micro, Atari 800, ORIC Tangerine, TI/99, Jupiter ...

Re: Buying CD's
Haven't bought a CD for myself for at least a decade or even more... those few which I bought since then were all presents for someone else. I had a huge collection of CD from my youth years, but honestly I barely listened to them anymore, so I have been downsizing it by selling something and giving...

Re: What Comics did you read as a kid?
I lived in Italy as a kid, and I used to read basically only local italian comics. There is a huge italian production of Disney comics, and even a bunch of duck characters were created by the italian artists (obviously not the top characters, but secondary ones such as Duck Avenger/Superduck). But t...

Re: What's Your Favorite Driving/Racing Game Ever?
"GranTurismo 6" on the Ps3 is my favourite ever.
If that doesn't count because Ps3 is not 'retro' yet, I then vote "Slick'n'Slide" in DOS.
