Re: Retron 77
Learning a little about Hyperkin's business practice from the Retron 5, will the 77 just be running an unauthorised build of Stella with their own UI laid on top? I've been watching this project and it looks like they are taking a more legit route. Below are quotes taken from a thread at AtariAge P...

Re: saturn "wobbly" picture help!
Maybe the TV isn't switching to RGB but outputting composite instead. The Saturn gives out a puny voltage for RGB switching and some TVs have trouble detecting this. I have this problem. I found that if I use a switchable multi scart block and switch on my SNES through RGB and put my Saturn through ...

Re: Finding receipts for games.
To think I was only on about £50 a week at the time and I went through a period of buying a game a week for about 6 months. That was the most expensive by some way though as they usually cost about £25.RetroBob wrote:Wow, that was quite a bit back then!

Re: Retro arcade machines in Bexhill on Sea (sort of)
Was in Bexhill today and there was a little arcade with at least 20 retro cabinets. Trouble was, none were working and all were just lined up in rows. Difficult to see most of them but I sneaked in between and saw out run, hang on, operation thunderbolt and possibly Kung fu master and galaxian. Rea...

I wasn't going to buy anymore Jaguar games as I pretty much had all I wanted on the console. Somehow I found myself bidding on these.

Re: The gaming you just 'had to have' at all cost
Went into a computer shop to get a game for the Master System and came out of the shop with an Amiga 500 plus modulator and a couple of games. Why? A game called Garrison II was playing on a monitor and it looked like an excellent clone of Gauntlet. I just had to get it there an then. I went in to s...

Re: Modded original xbox
Do coin ops 5 and visionary share the same rom set in other words does visionary just use the Roms from the coin ops folder? Also is mame different from these. The only reason I ask is because I can't find the proper version of donkey kong on coin ops or visionary. From what I can make out using th...

My memory may be playing tricks, but I seem to recall an article in Edge(I think) where Daryl Still said he thought the Jaguar would sell by catching the wave of publicity of the Playstation.

Don't forget the Neo Geo emulator (name escapes me) bung on all the roms, plenty of fun to be had.
