Re: North Korea
The reason the USA won't pick on North Korea is that they know NK WILL defend themselves and retaliate and NK also have China on their side.

Re: Advice requured.
Who said anything about a fancy pair? I just want a decent pair to connect to my lappy so I can create music without annoying everybody else with the racket and to watch youtube. I just like cheap easy to use, nothing fancy hard/software and I'm practically on glorified (paid) work experience at 90 ...

Before I ask for advice, I'm going to give you some background. I've recently had to endure the torture of earache which meant I couldn't use in-ear headphones due to the earwax on them after the use of ear drops and the one quid ones I've been using on a temporary measure aren't to bad but the las...

Re: Eight bit animation simulation for Retro Gamer Magazine
I am totally confused by this thread! Scaleback - what are you actually on about in the first post? Maybe it would be good to have an image or link to something. You said: How many pages of code would the graphics and animation have taken to do on this ? - Do what? Sorry. Sorry. My fault (I wasn;t ...

Re: Eight bit animation simulation for Retro Gamer Magazine
From time to time the internets throws up a bot that's slightly smarter than the other bots and as it struggles towards full consciousness it desperately tries to make contact with humanity before it fades back into dumb binary. Could we be seeing that very thing happening right here? I think we co...

You're talking about a right load of unused material there. Some I might use, some might get deleted.gman72 wrote:If SCALEBACK could combine all his projects that never got fully off the ground into one uber-project I think he might just be able to change the world as we know it.

Re: Eight bit animation simulation for Retro Gamer Magazine
Instead of eagles, shouldn't you be using loons? I know I've just been laughing like one for some reason. Seriously, thanks for cheering me up today when it's so grey and miserable outside. Bit of a problem, I needed them to be in the colours of Kronenbourg 1664 (my lager of choice) and hence teir ...

Re: Eight bit animation simulation for Retro Gamer Magazine
Folks, I think with Scaley's posts you're given a puzzle and you've got to apply some brainwork and fill in the blanks. I humbly offer my solution to the current puzzle as follows ... The "Retro Gamer Magazine" in the thread title refers to the digital version, which I'm assuming features animated ...
