Re: What are you currently playing?

A quick go of fall guys before bed turned into 2 hours. This is going to eat my free time up for a while.

Re: What Films/TV Have you Watched Recently?

Star trek lower decks Wow, this is bad, the star ship design should of been a massive red flag, but I watched it anyway. I think its meant to be funny, but The Orville does Trek humour way better. Its on par with Discovery............. I liked it. Some of the humour didn't connect but I liked the c...

Re: What are you currently playing?

Just started yakuza 2 as my 'main' game. Excellent remaster.
Mk11- finished story mode and now just faffing around the towers until the dlc story comes down in price.
Mario odyssey- 560 moons and it's just starting to get challenging.

Re: Nintendo Switch Discussion

Pikmin 3 Deluxe confirmed for the end of October. Will contain the DLC plus some new content. Haven't played the Wii U version yet do I may pick this version up for the definitive edition. I was hoping they'd bundle 1+2 in with this, 3 in it's own isn't worth a second dip for me. Its alrite, just s...

Re: From The Forum Issue 211

Might as well ask ask me to pick a favourite child lol. I guess DKC 3. The graphics, the characters and the music were the best in that series for me and has more collectables which I love. Or Sm world. Or Bomberman 2.

DKC3. Maybe.

Re: Streets of Rage 4 officially announced!!!

Saw cex selling new copies of this today cheaper than amazon. Xbox and ps4 £28, switch £32. Presume its not just my store. Certainly cheaper than the limited run version of the game I nearly bought.

Edit- £25 at currys

Re: Coronavirus

Do we even know for certain that having coronavirus antibodies will provide that much protection? (of getting it again) A nurse friend of mine has had it twice. Now it could be the one infection that hadn't fully disappeared before being tested again but its recorded as twice. As have most of the o...

Re: Nintendo Switch Discussion

All the reviews are positive, so I've actually paid full price for Carrion and am about to start playing. It's been so long since I bought a game on launch and was excited to play. In other news, All Star Fruit Racing, a decent Mario Kart clone that reviewed well, has 95% off until 6th August, so a...

Re: What's the most iconic retro game that's actually rubbish?

I still enjoy mario 64, personally think it's better than odyssey. Banjo is still better than both though imo.

Metal gear also gets on me tits. Story is absolute bobbins. You can't tell a fan that either or they will claim you 'don't understand it'. I understand it fine, it's just crap.

Judgement ps4. It's gone down to a tenner on psn which is cheapest I've seen it.
Got excited then until I saw that you'd bought it on PSN! The retail copy is still nearly £30 on Amazon and ebay.
Yeah I've been hoping for a physical edition but this will do for now.

Re: The New gen thread PS5/XBOXsX (feat PONG)

Anyone else disappointed with the MS showcase? Was hoping we'd see ballsy ms, shoving loads of games in our faces. I mean showing halo in cross gen ain't selling hardware.

Re: What's the most iconic retro game that's actually rubbish?

Well there's quite a lot that were good but are now rubbish for one reason or another but one that I always thought was bad was the first tomb raider. The controls are awful, really awful. I played it after mario 64 and could not get my head around the tank movement. Just seemed so backwards, even t...

Mario odyssey. 250 moons in and, whilst an excellent game it ain't a patch on the galaxy games or sunshine.
