Re: Funstock and refunds

I bought a Dingoo A330 from them over a year ago, long story short they retweeted a picture id sent them on my birthday of said dingoo. Last month or so i found the dingoos battery had exploded and pushed the casing apart. I tweeted a picture in case it happened to others and included @funstock. Th...

Re: Funstock and refunds

Has anyone had any problems or got the runaround from Funstock when asking for refunds? I ordered a GPD XD 64gb on the 29th February. It was out of stock, due March 14th at the time. That date came and went and just before Easter I was told the stock had landed in the country but due to Easter bank...

Re: 'Artcade' Book Video

Definitely recommend buying from Bitmap Books directly (if you aren't going to order from us).

Re: 'Artcade' Book Video

It definitely hasn't been forgotten - you would be (or may not) be surprised by the number of people still trying to buy one.

I still have one on my desk as a gentle reminder of those days though.

Yes - I can recommend (although very biasly): http://www.funstockretro.co.uk/artcade-classic-arcade-game-art-book Your link to Bitmap Books (the publisher) is also reputable too. I don't think anywhere else is stocking it yet. Edit: thanks for the heads up on the other thread too! I've subscribed to...

Re: RetroN 5 Thoughts

The Ouya is terrible. There's a lot better Android based systems out there (I have the Mad Catz MOJO as my "console" based Android system for example). Which games can't you get to work? I disagree about the Ouya. I've got one and have never had a problem with running emulators. It's compatible wit...

Re: RetroN 5 Thoughts

well, the double controller pack i queried the price on, has some money off, and is down to £149.99 at the moment. coupled with a code from instagram, i ordered one for £142.49 over the weekend. both colours said (and still say) they are in stock, but have had a mail saying it;s out of stock, on ba...

Re: RetroN 5 Thoughts

I am still going to do a YT review vid on mine. I have finally got IPS patching to work, and yes I have gotten it to play ROMS. However if you want a ROM machine just get an Ouya, or something similar. So far I have found 3 games from my colleciton that do not work, which is not bad The Ouya is ter...

Genuine query by the way, I'm considering buying one.
There's nothing extra no - good old "retail" pricing.

Not that I have such a thing, purely for research I ask.
Not yet. I've heard rumblings that people are working on it, but from what I've seen so far there's nothing as simple as that yet.

From here mate: http://www.happychick.hk/ - you should be able to load it straight from your JXD.

Personally, I totally avoid Happy Chick and do everything via SD. It's a simple drag and drop situation.

Re: RetroN 5 Thoughts

I didn't look at the box Andy but what's the deal with the battery saves? It is something of an issue. Do you know what causes it and if not, are consumers warned? It's not something anyone has commented on to us as yet. I seem to recall it was resolved via a FW update anyway (although I may be wro...
