Re: The Star Wars thread
Unfortunately if people like this kind of Star Wars film then Disney will continue to make them this way, ultimately diluting them to the likes of the green milk that Luke slavishly drinks straight from the boob of a space cow. If they do then I for one will be out. I'll still have the originals tho...

Re: The Star Wars thread
There be SPOILERS here, let the curiosity die, kill it if you have to... I don't think that Star Wars going in a new direction is the main problem with the fans, in fact a lot of comments made about the film seem to suggest that it could be a good thing. The problem lies with Rian Johnson's attempts...

Re: What games/consoles have you bought this week??
Okamiden usually goes for around £25-£30 nowadays. It doesn't seem to be that difficult to pick up online but on the high street...I've seen more evidence of unicorns listening to walkmans than finding this game. In other news I picked up Undertale for the Vita. What a quirky game, I'm really enjoyi...

Re: Gaming moments that make you go "wow!"
Seeing Hyrule Field for the first time in OoT, especially seeing Death Mountain and then realising later on that you have to go there. It made the game world seem so much larger. Seeing the trailers for Breath of the Wild gives me the same goosebumps.

Re: No Man Sky
I've been having more fun reading the online backlash than actually playing the game, Hello Games has a lot of explaining to do it seems. As for the actual game I'm getting rid of it tomorrow, I feel I've seen everything there is to be seen. It really does become repetitive after a while and for suc...

Re: Enemies you hate in games
Any enemies that ride motorbikes across the screen in a scrolling beat em up, they are so tedious to fight.

Dream Gaming Holiday Destination
I'm sure we've all thought it playing a game, "Cor blimey this looks a nice game, I wouldn't mind going on holiday to a place like that" So the question is a simple one...in what game world would you like to visit for a holiday? Maybe a scenic tour of Hyrule or an all inclusive in Vice City? Which g...

Re: Worst game you've ever bought
Transbot on the Master System is probably the worst game I ever bought and it was ironically the first game I ever bought too. Terribly monotonous game with only two areas and god awful music. I'm surprised I carried on with the hobby if that was my first foray into gaming.

Re: Favourite Sega Controller
I broke 2 official Dreamcast controllers from playing Crazy Taxi. The triggers just couldn't withstand the Crazy Dash and usually ended up broken, I had to buy a cheap 3rd party pad with sliding triggers as opposed to the hinged ones on the official pad. As many have said the Japanese Saturn pad is ...

Just Cause 3 Sky Fortress DLC...and then it was gone. Seriously, £9.49 for something that only lasted for about an hour...I don't think I got my money's worth. But it was fun while it lasted, the Jet Wing Suit complete changes the way you can traverse in the game. Vehicles and even the grappling hoo...

Re: Europe's largest arcade - in Bury !
That's excellent news about Ketsui. All I'd need then are Elevator Action Returns and an Area 51 cab together with Ketsui and Star Wars Trilogy Arcade and I'd have my 4 favourite arcade games there! You'd have to forcibly evict me every night

Re: Europe's largest arcade - in Bury !
Spent the day here yesterday (travelled all the way from Wales) and it was really brilliant. There were a great selection of games (although I noticed I'd seen a few of the games at Play Expo before, I found out I have a new high score to beat on Star Wars Trilogy Arcade) and it was great to see a S...

Re: What games/consoles have you bought this week??
^^^ Okamiden is a pretty difficult game to find in the wild. I've only ever found it in two places, HMV (where I bought mine) and Play Expo. I imagine it's available all over the nets but a good find nonetheless.
