Re: What games/consoles have you bought this week??

Love Enduro Racer on the Master System. I remember when it came out thinking how ridiculous it was that the Speccy had a fantastic conversion & the Master System had a great version of Hang On so why the hell have they gone down the isometric route? But I've really come to appreciate it over the ye...

Re: Chillblast PC Build

I've come up with a better build from PC Specialist (which actually works out cheaper than the one in my OP): AMD Ryzen 5 3600XT CPU (6 cores at 4.5GHz base speed) 8GB AMD Radeon RX580 16GB Corsair Vengeance RAM (2x 8GB, DDR4, 3200MHz) 1TB PCIe SSD 24x DVD R/W optical drive Corsair 750w RMx power su...

Re: Chillblast PC Build

Id go prebuilt, a grand can get a great PC. You will also need and OS, thats a "few" quid (Meh Linux) But if your going to mostly play older titles you wont need it Might as well play console stuff like GTA and RDR on a console............. The build comes with Windows 10 installed. I've been using...

Chillblast PC Build

I'm thinking of dropping some cash on a kickass gaming rig. I have some experience of PC building from cheap/used parts but for this kind of investment I want a warranty behind it and the reassurance of having it built by people who know what they're doing (the PC I built lasted about six months bef...

Re: Coronavirus

Does anyone else here think the biggest problem with Good Morning Britain is Piers Morgan? It's his job to criticise the government and hold them to account but he discredits himself by harassing government ministers with stupid questions: Piers Morgan: Mr Hancock, the government's handling of this ...

Re: Coronavirus

My aunt, undergoing treatment for lung cancer, had to be moved into a nursing home just before Christmas. This week her and eight other residents have been diagnosed with COVID-19. I'm sorry to hear about that. My friend's elderly mother went into hospital around September time and she went into a ...

Thinking about it, even Road Rash was ported to the PS1. Does anybody know if there is much difference between it and the 3DO original? I want to play it again but don't want to buy another 3DO!
The game is also available on the Sega Saturn.

Re: Coronavirus

You think masks do nothing to protect us? Why? I don't trust the government's U-turn on them. At the beginning of the pandemic, the official position was that face masks were of no benefit to the general public and we went through the peak of infection (when 900 people were dying a day) under no ob...

Dust and smoke feck me up really bad, did have a thing when the first lockdown started where breathing was a major issue, if I did anything other than focus on breathing I couldn't
Sounds like you should be exempt from wearing a face mask. Your asthma seems to be more severe than mine.

Re: Coronavirus

As to Mask Prin you may be exempt, people with stuff or with a history of stuff that can be aggrivated like asthma etc can get an exemption and all you need to wear is a lanyard with a card when you go in a shop so staff know not to stop you for it. I also have asthma. I take medication for it but ...

No, just a few independent thoughts on what's happening (and not happening) right in front of us.

Re: Coronavirus

People that dont believe it exists should be made to sign a waiver denying all treatment when they do get ill, This "Believer-Non-Believer" dynamic is one of the most worrying things about the pandemic. It effectively turns the virus into a religion which the authorities are using for coercive cont...
