As the only really successful handheld only magazine it was there as the portable gaming device came of age and there were 4 formats covered in this issue. Our reviews though come from the original Nintendo Game Boy. With a licenced p...

Re: Blockbuster in store trailer videos

Thanks, although this is quite the kind of thing I usually post!

This isn't quite the kind of thing that really isn't preserved though, couldn't find any of these on YouTube, much less the "private" bits the public were never supposed to see.

Blockbuster in store trailer videos

I used to work for Blockbuster in the mid-2000s, we had an instore "TV" channel called BBTV showing trailers and adverts for Blockbuster related items.  Obviously back then this wasn't broadcast, it was DVDs sent to store monthly. Sorting out a storage unit this week I came across one of those DVDs,...

Re: Yesterzine - The Literal Magazine Show

So it turns out I'm not perfect.  Over the first year of Yesterzine I've apparently made a few minor bloopers and one absolute whopper.

And now the finale!

In "The Now Years" we look at where the key people from DSI ended up, including how DSI founder Don Mattrick managed to become the most notorious man in gaming. And TV. And Sports.

Re: The biggest game dev you've never heard of... Distinctive Software

In Part 2, DSI are ready to unleash their first break through hit.  But it would start a chain of events that would eventually see a messy split with the publisher they called home. Well they probably called them "Accolade" like everyone else but you get the point. Find out how that happened in Part...

The biggest game dev you've never heard of... Distinctive Software

Ok, this is my biggest project and my brave attempt to do something more like the stuff @Kim Justice does so well. Distinctive Software is a name you probably won't recognise but they were founded by one of the most notorious people in the industry and by some measures are now the biggest game devel...
