From what I remember you were a centurion character or something like that and you fought other romanesque characters and skeletons. You had a sword and shield and once per level you could waggle the ...

Re: From the forum issue 146 - Neo Geo
Neo Turf Masters was probably the game I spent the most time playing once I'd got an emulator running. I always thought the 'Death Match' mode in World Heroes 2 was a nice twist on a one on one fighter, so that got a bit of hammer too.

Re: Emulating on a Raspberry Pi - RetroPie
Its a bit weird this thread is on here as I was logging on to ask the question about running emulators on a Raspberry Pi.
Is the RetroPie website a good place to start?

Thunderforce IV on The Megadrive. The graphics are so much more beautiful than most other shooters and the game is varied and tough too.

Re: Discuss Time! Issue 141 Your first gaming purchase
Whoa! Far too long ago to remember. It would have been for the Commodore +4 I got for Christmas when I was 7 though and it might have been something like Big Mac or KikStart. Both great games.

Re: From The Forum Issue 140
I got it as a freebie when I took out a sub to Your Sinclair back in the day. I did enjoy Lemmings 2 on the Mega Drive, the variety of Lemmings made it more enjoyable than just the same ten or so in the first game. It was more enjoyable nuking them though, especially if you had them packed into a ti...

Being able to play 8-bit and 16-bit games on emu on my PSP means it will be around for a long time yet.

Finally retired Borderlands 2 after much longer than I'd usually spend on a game to play....

Re: From the forum issue 138 - Point and click
Having gone down the console route over the years, I've not played most of the games mentioned on here, therefore the Broken Sword series is on obvious choice for me. Its hard to pick out any as my favourite as I enjoyed the first three equally before not really following them after that. Also, a sh...

Re: From the forum issue 137 - Favourite Playstation game
A toss up between Final Fantasy VIII and Resident Evil 2. I seemed to enjoy Final Fantasy VIII more than its predecessor and it had the added bonus of tripe triad! Resident Evil 2 just built on the first game even if it was lacking the originality and surprises that the first one had. Overall I'd sa...

Re: What arcade game was this?
No, not that. I tried to find any Bucky O'Hare arcade game pics on Google and the ones I found looked like they might be the game, but I read an FAQ and it didn't sound like it at all.
