Re: Really Short Games

I would say Aliens: Infestation for DS, I was kinda bummed to finish it so quickly! Really good game though!

Re: When something just dies :(

I remember when the Dreamcast died on me back in 2004/2005, and a shop replaced it. The PS2 came soon afterwards (I blame it on the Modchip). After that a couple of 360s stopped working but that was 4 years ago.
Nothing too sad really!

Re: Xbox One/PS4 discussion thread.

What's really annoying is that in a decade, the servers will go down and you end up with a brick. Really stupid decision. I hate this idea of the "cloud", I'm not sure if I'm right but apparently you've got half of the game on the disk and the rest is streamed? It's a stupid logic to be honest, and ...

Re: 3DS Games discussion/Collecting thread

My friend code is: 2680-9707-8255 please add me! I'm currently addicted to Animal Crossing, this game just totally mellows me out. Coming back to real life after switching t off is almost depressing  I've been playing some more of DK Country Returns and I got up to a level where a tidal wave s...

Re: Playstation Vita games discussion thread

Bought Guacamelee too and really liking it so far.
Noticed that Machinarium got released and it's not even £5. To be honest it's really worth the price, but how does it handle on the Vita? Does anyone know?

Got the WiiU, so far only got Nintendoland for it. But I'm liking it, and liking the Wii upscaling.
Bought Comix Zone from eBay for £18, not a bad price as it's in good condition with manual.

At the same shop, I found Tony Hawk Pro Skater 2 and Discworld Noir for £2, very good condition.
Bought Ridge Racer for PSP at £5 on eBay.

Re: Do you collect magazines/ have a magazine collection?

Retro Gamer for the moment, I used to collect Games tm but that has stopped ages ago.
I've collected The Games Machine, the Italian version, but threw away most of the mags.
I've got a few Edge mags, and have the first 10 numbers and some mixed issues.

Either Resident Evil 2 or Battlefield: Bad Company 2. Bad Company 2 I've reached about 300 hours, only spent online. I was pretty decent at it actually.

Re: What are you currently playing?

Playing Flashback on Mega Drive, will be finishing it off soon and the Expert difficulty isn't too difficult. Got a bit stuck with Level 2 (New Washington) at the end but managed after a bit of frustration.

Re: Neo Geo X Gold

If the emulation had been spot on it would have been essential, even at the current price. After all, it would cost around £2,000 easily to get all the games on the original system. It isn't though :( This reminds me of Ashen's review, and as he said, I'd go for the PSP if I want Neo Geo emulation ...

I've subscribed and can definitely see the potential. I've also visited the shop and bought Flashback, which I'm playing now. I do like the mix of fact and also entertainment you guys mixed and it does keep you watching and waiting for more. The three-way review is very interesting, and you do get t...
