Game On exhibition

Has anyone visited the Game On exhibition at the Science Museum in London? ( http://www.gameonweb.co.uk/ )

If so, was it any good?

Games That Moved You

Kickstart was the ultimate one for me - every time I wanted the bike to jump, I'd press the fire bu...

I guess companies are conditioned in to putting their effort in to "looking forward to the future" rather than mooching around in the past; cos do that too much and you're energy is all on thinkin about how good you used to be and not doing much to maintain or surpass that. That all, said I think as...

I just live with the hangover and top my alcohol level back up, which is actually pretty dumb but you tend not to think at your most logical when you're suffering the booze binge backlash... The whole thing about drinking pints of water before you go to bed... well it kinda works, but I'm usually wa...

Re:

What the hell is that thing? it was used with one game or maybe two. one was ski mogul or some such for the 2600, it came with the "JoyBoard".You would stand on it and "ski". I heard it was what helped spawn the Guru Meditation error message... can't remember the exact story tho. Joystick all the w...

Hmmm Nintendo games... on the whole they're just kinda weird.
Acid trip colours, unrealistic worlds, stories and odd looking characters.

So, depends what you mean by "special"...
Special case maybe?

The Child Catcher

I was put through the VHS version of water torture last weekend when my god daughter made me sit through Chitty Chitty f**kin Bang Bang  (obviously the gratuitous and rather unnecessary swear word was added in by me for effect, although if they ever remake it and slap an 18 cert on it, it may...

It could of course simply be that the game disks are f**ked...

I vaguely remember having to use some Amiga copy tool to recover floppies and dump em on to more stable ones.

Xcopy possibly... memory is a bit hazy

I'm afraid of living a wasted life. Do you want the bad news now? :P For those of you who have a fear of spiders - what exactly is your fear? Is it a fear of being bitten by the spider, or maybe a fear of them crawling in to an intimate place and you not being able to do anything about it? The form...
