Re: Tracking lateness

Got #194 today in the US, less than two weeks after the UK street date. Much better! 👍

Re: Tracking lateness

And I also got both #191 and #192 on the same day (Tuesday, April 2). This is the second time this has happened... should I expect two issues every two months? Is it somehow cheaper to send them this way? 🤪

Re: Tracking lateness

Sanity check before I make a replacement request... have any US subscribers received issue #191? (Bitmap Brothers cover, February) Thanks.

Re: Tracking lateness

An interesting update for me in Atlanta, GA... I requested a replacement copy of #188, which was originally released at the end of November. It was sent on January 9th and arrived January 25th, a bit over two weeks later. Of note is that the replacement did not have the subscriber cover, just the no...

Re: Tracking lateness

For US folks: have you already received #188? (PlayStation, with calendar) I have not received mine yet. Thanks!

Re: Best renewal offer for US subscribers?

Any updates on this? Right now (today) there is 24% off, and with a two year subscription that is almost as good as the old Imagine offer.

Best renewal offer for US subscribers?

Hey folks, Back when the magazine was published by Imagine, there was a coupon code for renewing Retro Gamer that made the annual rate £50, or about $65. The current 40% off offer is $93. What is the best offer we are likely to see for renewals? Over the holidays, I don't think there was anything be...

Opinions?

This looks like the place to talk about binders... The RG binders seem to have spring-loaded strings, similar to the ones offered for the old (smaller) White Dwarf from Games Workshop. I had a lot of trouble getting the slim (32-page, staple-bound) White Dwarf magazines into those binders, so I am w...

A quick update... I have been told a replacement copy is on the way, and I will let you know how that goes. Also, I received #173 yesterday, so that means #172 is almost certainly missing. On the plus side, #173 arrived less than two weeks after the UK street date, which is pretty good.

Re: Are US subscriptions now being shipped from within the US? Shipping speed VERY slow. Packaging flimsy.

I received #173 today. I never received #172, so, to me, its quite clear, either the distribution center or the post office messed up. That's something Future/Retrogamer staff need to investigate. I don't think it's acceptable for anyone who subscribes to have a "hole" in their sub. You can contact...

Has anyone else in the US (besides thegamesnotoveryet) received #172? I am still waiting on mine in Atlanta GA, and am wondering if I should wait any longer or try to contact customer service. Thanks.

Re: Bookazines / Specials

That's a shame. Game art is what I'm particularly interested in. Would like bookazine on game art of the likes of res evil, silent Hill, final fantasy and Zelda etc. Most of the art books are pretty but lack interviews and info. Concept art final renderings and artist interviews is what I'd like to...

Re: Bookazines / Specials

I flipped through the Pixel bookazine at Barnes & Noble (US)... most of it is interviews with artists about their own projects, and not about commercial games. I was hoping to see a mix of coverage, including more about game art. The game spreads are nice, but there is no text to go with them.

The plot thickens... I just received #168 here in Atlanta, which puts it 20 days after the UK release. If that will be the delivery delay going forward, I am OK with that.

An improvement: my copy of #167 (Super Famicom version) arrived on Thursday last week (June 2), to Atlanta.
