Re: Micro Men

I thought the program was excellent, it really evoked that time period for me, I actually remember going to computer shows a bit like the one depicted. I thought the end scene with Clive in his C5 being overtaken by the Microsoft and HP juggernaughts was kind of sad. The UK led the world in hardware...

Atari Jaguar Scart Cable

Can anyone recommend a supplier of these.
I've tried all the usual suspects (including ebay) and they're either not available or damn expensive.

TIA

Re: What games/consoles have you bought this week??

Anyone know if that will work with a PS2 ? It'll work on the PS2 but not with an LCD TV, hope this is of help :D Thanks for the advice, I've got it up and running on a PS2 linked to an old 29inch Trinitron CRT. I've never played the game before in the arcades and up to now I am liking the duck and ...

Re: What games/consoles have you bought this week??

I think I got something of a bargain at todays booty.

Mint PS1 Tekken3 for 10 pence &
Mint PS1 TIme Crisis with a G-Con 45 gun in it's box with all cables and instructions for the princely sum of one english pound.

Anyone know if that will work with a PS2 ?

Re: Retro UK Gaming Arcades

I attended the Arcade Barn's open event last Saturday. It's definitely worth a visit to play the working cabs (Defender, Space Invaders, Dig Dug, Asteroids Deluxe, Chase HQ, Daytona USA, etc etc; best to see their web site for the full list.) and to see the ongoing restorations (Outrun, Dragons Lair...

Re: Lost C64 Development Disks

I'll pop up some photos later, the lot appears to have some disks marked as development in a couple of the boxes, but I guess these games could be legit copies.

Lost C64 Development Disks

I've recently picked up a C64 and 1541 DIsk Drive from a car boot sale for the princely sum of 50 pence. I've just got round to looking through the diskettes and there appears to be a couple of development disks for games called Final Whistle and Cricket Master. I've never heard of either game, can ...

Re: Wii price increase

Sorry to ruin your "oh its nasty old Nintendo again", but this is happening outside of videogaming as well. The weakness of the pound is driving up the cost of all imports. Why has petrol gone up recently when oil is only $40 a barrel. A Daihatsu Sirion was one year ago 6995 now its 8320, same car ,...
