Re: Nintendo Switch Discussion

I went into town yesterday to buy a Switch but came home empty handed. Only Game had any so I tried to purchase one, they told me they can only sell me one in a bundle. Ok I said what bundles do you do, they said we don't do any you must buy atleast two full price games and a MARIO themed accessory...

Re: Nintendo Switch Discussion

So nearly a week after launch, how is everyone feeling about their purchase? Still enjoying it. I must have dies about a dozen times in Zelda through a combination of stupidity and curiosity. I have still be using the Switch mainly as a home console, but did have a quick go of Fast RMX in handheld ...

Re: Nintendo Switch Discussion

I am reasonably happy with the Switch so far. The console feels well made, and apart from the lack of content on the console (it is only a few days old after all) it runs quickly and cooly. The 2 seperate joy cons are really handy for casual gaming. When fitted to the grip to form a conventional con...

Re: Nintendo Switch Discussion

I'm beginning to feel the hype a bit too. For some reason I always go for the Nintendo consoles at launch, and haven't been disappointed yet. My only gripe was the relative hassle it has been getting a copy of Zelda guaranteed (I hope). I can't understand why they wouldn't produce equal numbers of Z...

Re: Spectrum Vega Plus Poll

It's a no for me.

I do like the Spectrum, but it was a little bit before my time, and therefore nostalgia, probably the biggest pull to retro gaming for me, doesn't come into it.

If I see a big price drops / second hand units in years to come then I might be swayed.

Re: Warcraft film

I wasn't that impressed to be honest.

An average film, on par with the new Ghostbusters.

The Beans wrote:"Arrow" got the biggest laugh out of me because I'm currently playing Skyrim and that vid is hilariously spot on.
Same, Arrow is is the best one.

Fantastic series though, just watched the lot.

Re: Civilization VI

It looks great, especially after the disappointment with Beyond Earth.

Its just a bit pricey for me at the minute.
Will definitely pick it up when is closer to the 25-30 quid mark.

Re: Nintendo NX Reveal Coming Tomorrow!

I'm not sure on this one. Ok, so I will probably get it at launch, beacause I am a mug, but don't see how this will grab Nintendo a bigger slice of the gaming market.
At least it isn't called Wii-something...

Re: Today

What a shitty situation.

Look on the positive side though (difficult , I know).
You have done the right thing, and your conscience is clear.

Everything will come out in the wash and you former partners will be exposed for what they are.

Good luck with the job hunt, hope you find one soon.

Re: Bourbons Vs Custard Creams

I have never even tasted an oreo as the colour just puts me right off them No - don't try them. They're a bland food. Something of a triumph of advertising hype over quality product. I don't understand the fuss with them. People using them in milkshakes, cheesecakes and other desserts, etc. I think...

Re: play expo 2016

Yes, I had a good time, though I wish I hadn't gone solo, or at least arranged to meet people. It was weird not being a part of it, all the previous ones I had that cameraderie from setting up and getting people in the doors, so being and outsider gave a very different view. I know what you mean, a...
