EDITED:
It is pretty obvious you have a distinct disliking for Chiptune and you have made your point in previous posts (as have others) but I think it is time to leave this alone now as it is getting far to personal.

Re: From the forum issue 114 Platformers
Ah, the usual blog backlash from morons who haven't even read it. I laugh at your ignorance. I think these games crop up again and again is because the people who desperately cling on to them secretly hate their lives now and would do anything to be a kid again. Maybe it's the dull job, ever ...

Re: From the forum issue 114 Platformers
Sigh.. the usually shockingly predictable and crap answers from certain people.. Chuckie Egg.. Manic Miner??? Jesus. I think some some people here haven't played any games since they were a spotty oik, keeping the past in some sort of ludicrously rose tinted protective bubble in their mind. Anyone ...

Re: Retro Gamer Issue 113 - Feedback Thread
Eschewed my usual purchase from Waterloo station and instead bought it from my local Tesco megastore, as it was stocked there for the first time last month and I wanted to show interest in the new listing that's how fcking sad i am Not read much yet, but especially looking forward to the PlanesScape...

Re: From the forum issue 114 Platformers
I could never get very far in most Speccy platformers, although I remember many of them very fondly: Manic Miner, JSW, Dynamite Dan etc. But my favourite of that era was Starquake. "Not a Platformer" I hear you say? B.L.O.B. COULD MAKE HIS OWN PLATFORMS! Later favourites: Aladdin and Batman on the M...

Re: wii U
I'm not bothered about the delay on Rayman, I never was a big fan of the franchise tbh... I'm more annoyed that Ninja Gaiden is no longer exclusive. I wanted to pick that up the other day and couldn't find it any less than £47.99. Knowing this will launch on the other systems much cheaper is super ...

Re: wii U
Third Parties can't survive on single-console exclusives. At least not until the hardware numbers are there. It's a horrible system, and needs to end, but it's been there since the first cartridge was produced and the first Publisher realised they were the ones in control. Consoles need a vibrant P...

Re: Retro Gamer Issue 112 - Feedback Thread
You cant even get your facts right. I can't be bothered.. enough with this. Anyone who calls me mental is invited to come visit me and see if it is true. Maybe I will be sane, and a nice guy? Or maybe I will beat your head in with a brick before defacating on your twitching body while wearing a tu ...

Re: Retro Gamer Issue 112 - Feedback Thread
With all due respect to those posting, the comments on this thread have now moved so far off-topic that any actual feedback on issue 112, positive or negative, is rapidly becoming a distant memory. Any chance of getting the thread back on track guys? I liked it. I found a lot of it of particular in...

Re: Retro Gamer Issue 112 - Feedback Thread
Oh dear, oh dear. It was Chiptune who said that, not crusto. So well done to you for calling someone 'mental' when you evidently find it a stretch too far to differentiate between two different forum members. I was confused because you accused me of calling crusto "mental" three times, when in the ...

Re: From the Forum issue 113 Amiga
I had a Spectrum 128 at the time (before emracing consoles forever via the Sega Megadrive), so I could only gasp in wonder at screenshots of Amiga games in magazines of the time. So it's all of them, really.

Re: Retro Gamer Issue 112 - Feedback Thread
I focused on some of the mental things he said... That's the third time you've called crusto 'mental'. I think castigating someone for daring to play non-retro games, and indeed using that as evidence that Darran isn't committed to "the retro cause" is a bit mental, yeah. You don't appear to agree....

Re: Retro Gamer Issue 112 - Feedback Thread
If you call someone an "a-hole" and question their "commitment" to retro gaming (despite being the Editor of retro gaming magazines and sections for a decade) because they don't just play retro games exclusively , then I'm afraid I have some bad news for you: you are mental. crusto may have been a ...
