Another one that I couldn't understand is Commander Keen. I remember when it came out, everyone in school was raving over it and they'd spend their whole lunchtimes in the computer room playing the game. But when I played it, I couldn't stand the thing after just a few minutes of game playing. The g...

I use an Xbox controller, the original 'duke' version, hooked up with a USB converter. I've found the controls to be very responsive, and the analog stick can be used on most games where analog control was available (such as Outrun and other racing games). I even configure the coin and start control...

I could never understand the hype of the Ecco series. Swim around, do a few loops & tricks, marvel at the level of graphics the Megadrive is capable of (the second game does LOOK awesome), then wonder where the hell the game is or what I'm supposed to be doing? The Megadrive versions looks and feel ...

Yep get a GP2X. I got one and they're the best for emulation.

On the DS the screen res is too small to emulate properly and on the PSP you have to play 'spot the buggy firmware' with Sony.

Snatcher
The way the first game ends sets it up perfectly for a sequel following Gillian Seed and Metal Gear's adventures in Moscow.
I loved that game so much (still do) and a sequel would have ended the sga nicely.

All of the above.

When I was growing up I had a Commodore 64 and all my mates had Commodore 64s so I didn't see anything from any of the other machines.
I hadf nearly 1000 disks full of stuff (and was converting it all onto 3.5 disk for use with my FD-2000) when i drifted away from the C64.

Yet the minute a non smoker took an hour and 10 lunch instead of an hour they were taken to bits for skiving. This happened at a company I used to work for. In the end, the CEO said that smokers were restricted to a maximum of two 15-minute smoking breaks per day, because many of them were taking t...

Re:

Do two of them appear on the same page? Does one of them count as two? Yoyu know the one I mean. My earlier question was not referring to the same one that your are referring to. I was, in fact, asking about what I thought might have been two in a different section of the mag. But anyway... no. Goo...

Do two of them appear on the same page?

EDIT: Scratch that. I've just found it.

Good god that's hidden well.

BTW, that comp better not be UK only.

Received my copy on Friday, great stuff as always. The cover is the best one ever IMO (but then I';ve always been a big Sonic nut). But I do believe that my copy of RG has a mis-print. There are only 14 little Sonic spirtes, not counting the one of page 5. I found 14 of them rather easy, but I've be...

Last issue of subs notice?

I received issue 25 of RG today (in a brown paper envelope instead of the usual Imagine branded plastic wrapping), which is the last issue of my initial 6 issue sub. I was rather surprised to find that there was no notice of this included, just the mag and nothing more. How come no notice of usch ca...

Re:

I have a GP2X but I hardly ever use it. It's a battery guzzler at the moment & I don't have the AC adapter. Need to order that.... RI have some energiser 2500 mAh recehargables, they last for over 7 hours listening to mp3s or even around 3 hours when cranked up to 266mHz playing emu's. As for an AC...
