Re: Today

Snuck out as I needed some bits and broke down, think the poor thing knows it's going to sleep for a while soon.
Pains been a little worse today as I think I've made the tear worse.

Re: Today

I must have missed half of that too, I know theres not that much of the old Guard left. Today I found out I've got 2 busted discs and a torn ligament, whats going on with the nerve isnt showing though so Docs referred me on to a specialist, still no eta on healing though so the 4 jobs I had been wor...

Re: Trying to remeber a game that I saw on Youtube

Yeah that's it and I feel daft for not googling.

Now I just need to fettle with an emulator and hopefully get it running.

Trying to remeber a game that I saw on Youtube

I remember watching it one one of those Outside Xbox/xtra vids but I can't even remember which of those it was all I remember was it was Amiga and had Robinson in the title. Looked quite intriging as it was a survival game played from a first person viewpoint and used FMV clips when interating with ...

Re: Buying CD's

I'm the polar oppisite to my age group, I hate downloads and prefer a physical copy as I'm always of the mind set of what happens if its lost by accident and the service has gone tits up. I'll use youtube sometimes like a jukebox when I'm at home but I'm usually driving when out and the M3 has an un...

Re: How Far Behind in the Magazine Issues Are You?

I've got piles apon piles of still sealed mags upstairs, I did try to cancel it a while back as I just don't get to read the mag that much anymore and I'd be better off just picking it up from Tesco's when I fancy a dip.

Re: War, war never changes except when it crashes

There's a guide here, but it's not for the faint of heart: https://steamcommunity.com/app/22370/discussions/0/828937546147175081/ My tip would be to play New Vegas instead. Not only will it work without a ton of third party mods, but it's a better game too. Thanks, I'll give it a crack, I have NV i...

Re: War, war never changes except when it crashes

Gotta admit ive never played fallout3 on a PC only on the Xbox360 Originally it was the way I did along with NV however I spotted both a few years back in Sainsburys on PC for £3 each complete with all DLC packs which is less than one pack costs on marketplace so I swapped over and effectively got ...

War, war never changes except when it crashes

I decided to revisit the Capital wasteland as it whiles away the hours that my insomnia and pain keep me awake however I'm lucky if I'm there long before the Laptop has a meltdown and I have to reboot it. Fallout 3 is known to not get on with windows 10 however none of the fixes I've tried so far ha...

Re: Today

I miss my Mr Frosty, Mum binned it a few years back now, I've claimed the vintage Breville for my own and called him Neville.

Today I had some kits turn up although one was open and missing bits, so off to Amazon complaints I go.

Sega Rally, The newish one, scrapping with Win 10

Popped this in here as most wouldn't call it retro even though it's pushing 12 years old. Dragged out a few of my arcdey racers as they can be played in short bursts to work around meds side effects, OR runs fine but Sega Rally is being a bit of a beggar. It initially runs okish, I had to fight it d...

Re: What works with an Amazon stick

Don't get me wrong, I love the Speccy I was given and playing games on it but it's not my go to system as I didn't come across it until my teens which was XB and PS2 era.

Re: What grinds your gears ?

I'm not aware of any immediate causes for drain on the Focus, if its sat sometimes you can get the light switches stick on the doors on some cars so make sure you see them go out when you lock the car. Your average Car Battery is also only meant to average 5 years of normal use, Start stop systems a...

Re: What works with an Amazon stick

Pad might be cheap enough to just give it a punt, I'll see if a mate will be willing to pop in the local Debenhams to see if they have it in stock and pick it up, I can always fettle with the d-pad at a later date when I'm classed as safe to use tools again. I've seen the speccy in my local Game but...

Re: What grinds your gears ?

Bought used car 2 months ago (really happy with it). Come home from 3 weeks Christmas holidays to find it sitting dead in the garage. (Probably flat battery, but can I expect this to happen again if I fix that?) What car? I might be able to identify possible causes. Today, reacting to things that a...
