Re: How Far Behind in the Magazine Issues Are You?

I tend to mark the article by folding the corners so I can see at a glance what's unread. You realise the impact that statement will have on the audience here? I can hear it now, as if millions of voices suddenly cried out in terror. Wait till they see what I do with them, they get binned or cut up...

Re: The most disappointed you've ever been in a release

Many times I've sat expecting something and it's only wind. Sorry not that kind of realease. Games I'd say Need for Speed Payback, it promised customisation and the all new amazing super duper M5. Customisation was really limited, not even a fraction of what you could do in Carbon that was released ...

Re: What are you currently playing?

Booted up SotN again while waiting for weathering effects to dry and I swear it's punishing me for something.

Re: Is the forum in decline?

I'm only a bit more active now due being stuck home all the time although the Tramadol fogs my brain making it difficult to concentrate. The forum is quietly shrinking, it's definately not what it once was, possibly in part due to the market being what it is and emulation taking a hit from companies...

Re: What Films/TV Have you Watched Recently?

I watched Admiral on Amazon prime and it bought about something that's been bugging me a while. The blurbs and listings have a habit of twisting the truth for a lot of movies and this one is a perfect example, it completely hid the fact that the majority of the dialouge is in Dutch (I've no problem ...

Re: What are you currently playing?

I've yet to find a village on mine yet wierdly, not started farming animals yet but have been hunting them for food until I can get my orchard planted. I did have a check point onone of the mountains but had to remove it as its height dropped, I've got it set up in one of the houses for now for when...

Re: What Films/TV Have you Watched Recently?

Finished Stranger Things season 3, excellent stuff. :D Anybody played the game yet? I haven't but my brother has and he seemed to quite like it, plays out like games of the era apparently. Half watched the Greatest showman as my mum had it on while I was messing with my laptop, seems alright for wh...

Re: What Films/TV Have you Watched Recently?

Started watching Black Sails for research on a kit build and I love it.

It's got action, explosions, crass humour and full frontal nudity :D

Re: What are you currently playing?

SEGA Rally Online Arcade- Been in a SEGA Rally mood as of late and had this download among my giant pile of 360 downloads. Great game, too bad no one can buy it anymore. I tried to get the PC version to run on Windows 10 but it wasn't having any of it and its a shame as it's a good alternitive for ...

Re: Backwards Compatability

Given that the next gen consoles are going to be sporting very similar CPU/GPU architecture to the current gen, I'd say what could be more interesting is "forwards compatibility". I'm sure this was something that was mentioned on one of Digital Foundry's videos shortly after the announcement of nex...

Re: Should I buy PS3 or PS4?

Base it on your gaming budget, PS3 games can be found for a quid in some places where as PS4 rarely drops sub 10 unless its really old 2nd hand stuff.
A PS3 unit is dirt cheap now too, same as the 360 but you need to pick the right model, PS4 won't be cheap until it's replacement has been out a while.

Re: What Films/TV Have you Watched Recently?

Dumbo (2019) Very bland for Tim Burton, great work by Danny DeVito though The Mrs had me take her to the Cinema for it as she's a full Burton nut, pretty much thought the same, you can see his mark though and more of his new favorite actress. Finally watched Virus, remember it freaking me out as a ...

Re: What are you currently playing?

Spot of Test Drive Unlimited to break the new controller in, bloody traffic is getting frustrating as sometimes it registers further from the car and sometimes not at all when you are weaving through on the behave yourself missions.
