Re: Magazine cop out !!!

Retro Gamer is one of the densest magazines out there in terms of words per page. I don't think a few nice 2 page spreads showing off a console and breaking up the articles is really a bad thing, and I quite enjoy them. Having recently bought some of the earliest issues though, the word density hav...

Re: From The Forum 182: What's your favourite Mega Drive game

Since more or less no one had a Sega console in Norway ever, it was completely a Nintendo place until PlayStation came along, I can't say I've played much MD... I think perhaps the only one might be one of the Sonic games and some scrolling fighter the one time I was visiting that rich relative that...

Re: Retro Gamer issue 181

Ah, Street Fighter... :D I have a small story for that: Back in the early 90s, I inherited a NES and had some friends with NES and SNES. No one had Sega in Norway really, and PlayStation was far away. I was young (born in 1986), and played this game which I loved that I was sure was called Street Fi...

Re: Retro Gamer issue 180

With this one subscribers are getting an exclusive cover! And it looks awesome in my opinion :o How will non-exclusive cover look? And as usual we digital subscribers (I've been subbing digitally since 2009 or so I think :o ) are treated stepmotherly I guess. Only the regular front, no extras of an...

In the chair: I didn't see that one coming. That's the kind of (I'm guessing) long time brewing features you only get to do because you consistently do good, honest work. The kind of stuff that helps you get nominated for awards.
A most excellent interview. Kudos to the author. :)

Re: Retro Gamer issue 177

I am very surprised to see the NES so high on the list, given that the voters would be largely UK based. I never knew of a single person who owned a NES back in the day, but I knew of about 10 people who owned Atari STs, for example - yet the Atari ST didn't even make the top 30! This seems quite s...

If you reinstall, there is a button to reinstate old purchases. I did that when I got a new iPad two months ago.

Re: The Greatest Games Systems Of All Time

Voting for this ends tomorrow. Please vote if you haven't done so already :) Darn, I didn't see this poll before now. Oh well. Sorry, but all the votes have long been counted. If it's any consolation all your picks made the final list. Sure, it's very understandable. Deadlines happen, I know. :)

Re: The Greatest Games Systems Of All Time

1) SNES (for all the amazing games in its library!) 2) NES (for the games, the legacy for gaming history and for being my first console!) 3) 3DS (for the games, and the fact the 3DS is capable of playing all DS games) 4) PC (for all those delicious strategy and adventure games!) 5) Switch (for the a...

I never came to grips with Sonic back in the days. Mario was fun. Sonic just...wasn't. I loved the music though!

What game that you did not make, do you wish you had thought of before the creators?
