Re: Your favourite Team 17 game

Aaah - Team 17 ..I liked the fact that for some of their releases they issued updates or when they issued budget versions of full-price games they got a tweaking, ie: alien breed SE 92 Project X SE 93 Body blows (there was an upgrade option for the full price game, which added some extra bits to it)...

Re: Super Stardust Portable

I really like SSP - one of my first PSN full game downloads - but my scores are far too puny to display here!

Re: What is the ultimate Amiga for games?

The ultimate Amiga for games is an Amiga 1200 with accellerator, a bit of extra RAM, hard drive & WHDLoad Sounds pretty much like my A1200, a towered up machine with an '040, extra 32MBs RAM, 8gig HD, running OS3.9, with a CD & Zip drive plus registered WHDLoad. Plus a monitor with scandoubler. Why...

forgot about that one!! I downloaded the lite version and whilst that was the first time ever I'd played a mega man title, I was pleasantly surprised at how responsive the controls were.

Re: Post your iPod Touch games here

Yes, even better than a DS/R4 combo. I would rather pay 59p for a good game than download a shedful of meh ones. I tend to agree. I've been playing a lot of PSP games recently but I am seriously hooked on gaming on my iPhone. I know on other sites I read (essentially CVG and Eurogamer), there's a w...

Re: Post your iPod Touch games here

As a bit of a pinball fan I've already got Pinball Dreams and anxiously waiting for Pinball Fantasies to be released. Likewise. I take it you've seen the YouTube video ? (Hopefully they'll get any skipping issues sorted—there's the odd jerk in the video, although that could also be down to video co...

Re: Post your iPod Touch games here

I've bought/ downloaded quite a few over the last year ... some of my favourites are (which haven't already been mentioned in earlier posts): BlocksClassic (59p / free demo) - aka arkanoid clone GloBall ((59p / free demo) - like arkanoid, but, err, not. Uses the accelerometer (just try the demo): Po...

Re: Recommend me PSP games

I have a PSP and a DS. I go through phases of spending lots of time on one, then the other. I'm currently enjoying PSP gaming goodness. It seems that my PSP library's already been mentioned in the first few posts, however I have been going onto the PSN Store (directly via my PSP, as the web-based ve...

Re: Will at set top box ever replace a console in your house?.

A STB won't replace a console in my house, but as for technology merging, I can see it happening. For example, in my house we have Apple TV. It's a little box which streams tv programmes & films (plus music & pictures) onto my tv. It doesn't take too much of a leap forward to build in freeview capab...

I've played tetris on one handheld or another (game boy, mobile phone, iphone, ds) plus on desktop computers more than any other game over the last twenty(ish) years. It's kinda worrying ...

Re: The coolest thing ever to exist

What about this one... http://i40.photobucket.com/albums/e226/darthgord/SinclairLAPtrum.jpg Ignoring the fact the Porta-Speccy is loading Windows (why not Mac OS X?), the biggest issue I have here is that there's a 48K loading Windows. It'll be a multi-load for sure and all I'll get will be "press ...

Re: The coolest thing ever to exist

Despite me being a total Speccy fan, that C=64 laptop looks absolutely superb. And I'm now sooooo jealous as I don't think there's a Speccy equivalent. (Someone prove me wrong!!)
